All the Women of the Bible by Edith Deen (1995, Hardcover)

Read this for my enjoyment, knowledge, and for the catechism classes I teach. Lovely book. Would like more illustrations like in other editions, (though most of them would be speculative)for my younger student to gaze at. But it's very descriptive, anyway.

This book took a detailed look into the lives of all of the women in the bible. It gave the history and background. It was very thorough. A great study tool that can be used over and over. I would recommend it to everyone, even a child could read it and understand it.

In all, I bought three copies, one for myself, two for gifts. Very interesting book about all women of the Bible. The book was published during my senior year in college. The author, Edith Deen, graduated from the same college but several years ahead of me.. I wanted it for the college connection as well as content.
