Roger Miller, I am proud to say, was a friend of mine. I have met lots of people in my life, but never one like Roger was. He is one of a kind, and a genius. His songs stay on my heart, and go around singing them. My favorite on the CD would be "I've Been A Long Time Leaving', a great song, but so are all the others. River In The Rain, Last Word in Lonesome Is Me, Kansas City Star. There is not one song that isn't good, but you'll have your favorites. Roger was loved in the music, and we in the music business was inspired by him and knew what a gem he was. Roger is so missed, but we have his music to play and memories. Get this CD and enjoy.
