'Only You' is one of the top-5 greatest vocal performances ever, right up there with 'Unchained Melody' and 'Are You Lonesome Tonight?' They just don't sing like this anymore. Have you honestly heard anyone on American Idol with this level of talent? Synthesizers and good production can transform any off-key, tone-deaf singer into an acceptable performer in the studio, but the singers of the 50's didn't have any of this when they cranked out some of the most heartwarming sounds ever heard by human ears. I wonder how Kelly Clarkson would have sounded if she were forced to record in studio conditions circa 1955?

I have shopped with ebay several times and have been very please with each purchase. I do need to learn how to join the "ebay family" because I have some really good items that I would like to sell on ebay. My husband passed away two years ago and my only child, a son, age 37, wants me to downsize and get rid of some of my wonderful things that I can live without. He is right, I do not need to leave him with this burden and I could use the money for sure in this ecomomy that we have at present.
