All Music Guide to Rock (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

A mammoth-sized book,this contains many interesting reviews as well as mini-biographies of each artist.Not all of each artist's albums feature written reviews,but all have a rating of 1 to 5 diamonds(AMG's rating system)as well as significant release information.If you care about what other people think of the music you love or you just want to find out more about your favorite artists,then this book is for you.Unfortunately,there are no photos of any of the artists discussed,but this is probably due to space limitations.Whle this book does cover a lot,I noticed that some significant artists and some releases were not reviewed.This is my second copy of this edition;my first one got water damaged and while this second one could be in better condition(many of the pages were dog-eared),I still consider it a necessary addition to my collection.
