All Killer No Filler is an action packed hour of fast licks, drums, and bass. I have loved this CD since it first came out and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fast, melodic, strait to the point Punk Rock band!

Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler Review

This CD is one of Sum 41's earlier ones. It has the hit song Fat Lip. Personally, I love their old music as well as their new music. If you like Blink 182 or Lit, then you'll like this band. Their category would be 90s rock. Overall, I think this is a great CD and a great addition to any music collection.

Un disco muy guapo, con temazos que me recuerdan cuando tenia 16 años empezando a escuchar musica. Fundamental en la audio-teca.

  Sum 41

Sum 41 is one of those "ok" bands. They have a unique sound, but haven't put out many new tracks lately. If you are looking for a couple pop-rock songs that played on the radio several years ago, then this cd will suit your need.

  -Fat Lip-

Classic Sum41 sound, including "Fat Lip" and "In too Deep". When my old collection of CDs got stolen I knew my new collection had to include this CD. Sum41's affection for cool guitar riffs and amp-blowing choruses makes them one of my favorite punk-rock artists. Although 'Fat Lip' is not as heavy as their later work, the two songs mentioned above alone are enough of a reason to purchase this CD.

Sum41 will not crack your skull but it still rocks

This CD is a medium tempo punk collection. Although I think Does this look infected is a beter CD this one rounded out my collection and songs like:

All Shes Got and Crazy Amanda would not be missed if they were cut

Songs like In Too Deep, Motivation, and Fat Lip make the CD worth about $10

  Sum Killer, Mostly Filler

Pros:
The singles are basically the best songs on the album...

Cons:
....and the rest of the songs are mediocre filler

In the summer of 2001, Sum 41 released their first single, Fat Lip. The song quickly became one of my favorite songs that summer, and then after hearing their next two singles (In Too Deep and Motivation), I decided that I wanted to buy their CD. Since I loved those three songs so much, I should enjoy the rest of the album, right? Wrong. While Sum 41's disc, All Killer, No Filler isn't the worst CD I've heard, it definitely doesn't fall in the category of the best. The album is basically 6 tracks of filler, that are mediocre at best, and the 4 remaining tracks (excluding an intro, outro and...

This Killer Album Will Definitely Rock Your Summer

Pros:
Catchy beats and choruses,

Cons:
Really short, Lyrics are pretty weak

I originally bought Sum 41 s sophomore album, All Killer No Filler a few years ago mainly for the teen party anthem, Fat Lip. I didn t really know what to expect on the rest of the album, for I know that a lot of punk rock bands tend to have pure noise on their albums and really lack the substance that many people are looking for. And while All Killer No Filler is nothing ground-breaking in terms of rock music or lyricism, I just really seem to like the album a lot for some reason. Sum 41 is made up of four young Canadian guys Deryck (guitar and vocals), Cone (bass), Dave (guitar), and Steve .

All Killer No Filler Says It All...

Pros:
Reminds me of what Blink182 might sound like if they really were a punkrock band.

Cons:
Reminds me of what Blink182 might sound like if they really were a punkrock band.

I just got home from Tower Records and decided to pop one of my new CD's into the computer to listen to while I checked my e-mail. I was surprised when it wouldn't play and the light beneath the CD drive indicted that it should be, so I impatiently clicked everywhere on the computer screen trying to figure what in the heck was going on. And all the sudden my screen goes black... Oh great. That was exactly what I needed. But I was pleasantly surprised when a cute li'l penguin with a Quicktime logo popped up on the screen :) I failed to notice the small enchancedCD logo on the back corner of...

  Mostly Killer, Sum Filler.

Pros:
Really Catchy songs. Some good beats.

Cons:
Too "popish." Does this look infected is MUCH better.

(NOTE: WHEN I RATE SONGS, I'M COMPARING THEM TO OTHER SONGS ON THE ALBUM) Ah. Remember that day a few years ago when you would turn on your television only to see Sum 41's "Fat Lip" on every music channel? It was then Sum 41 became a household name with their catchy rhymes, and punkish style. Although many punk rockers insisted that the band were not punks, and were ruining the punk music scene across the world, Sum 41 insisted that they were not punks, nor trying to be. So then comes the album, "All Killer No Filler," followed by another two videos that practically took many nations across...

One Thing's For Sure: Don't Believe the Title
Review created: 07/02/01
by: MattA75 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
energetic, carefree, and great for the summer

Cons:
can seem repetitive, boring at times

At the moment, it seems that being a pop-punk band with a number in your band name is the popular and cool thing to do. Eve 6 blasted through in 1998 on the strength of their excellent song Inside Out. Recently, that band has hit it big again, this time with the coming of age high school graduation ballad Here's to the Night. Then there's Blink 182, the 3 immature California guys who made their mark by running around naked for a year. They recently released a new album, the very evolved (even if the title doesn't say it) Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. And most recently, 4 young kids from...
