I love the alien movies and also the predator series.But when you put them together in one movie it is fabulous.The action is excellant as well as the creatures.For any sci fi and horror fan it just dont get any better!!!

I gave this movie as a gift to my friends husband as a birthday gift, and he loved it! Im not really into this movie, but I found it great! Personally I would prefer the Alien ones with Sigourny Weaver over the Predetor ones, but I will recommend the AVP movies to any one who enjoys sci-fi movies!

I have enjoyed the other Alien and Predator movies over the years.
The first AVP was "enjoyable". Requiem was terrible, I watched it and now will sell it.

ALIEN VS. PREDATOR relegated its intergalactic grudge match to Antarctica, keeping most of humankind gleefully ignorant. This time around, though, the destruction takes place in suburban America, and those who have been waiting for it finally get to witness facehuggers, alien hybrids, and the dreadlocked Predator wreak some homeland havoc. Directors Colin and Greg Strause (billed as "The Brothers Strause") don't seem concerned with achieving the tension of the original ALIEN and PREDATOR films, instead using their visual effects backgrounds to create a steady stream of monsters, gore, and goo. Picking up where AVP ended, REQUIEM sees Predator on a homebound spacecraft when a baby alien/Predator hybrid bursts from his chest, causing the ship to crash in the Colorado woods. Several facehugger specimens escape, planting eggs down the throats of a hunter and his son. Soon, baby aliens emerge from their bodies and head for town, where ex-con Dallas (Steven Pasquale), Iraq War vet Kelly (Reiko Aylesworth), pizza delivery boy Ricky (Johnny Lewis), high school heartthrob Jesse (Kristen Hager), and sheriff Morales (John Ortiz) have their own separate encounters with the creatures. The dead Predator's home planet receives a transmission of the alien outbreak, and a fellow denizen of his world is dispatched to clean up the multiplying aliens, eventually causing enough death and destruction for government intervention. This is essentially a slasher film (or FREDDY VS. JASON with aliens), and the characters in REQUIEM are secondary to the creature effects. Fans of the comic books and videogames will appreciate the Strauses‘ adherence to the lore of the series, but others will probably just find thrills in the copious special effects, which are frequent and well-done (if often occurring in darkness). There is also a significant amount of indiscriminant gore in this rightfully R-rated film. A government conspiracy plot thread and an ambiguous ending ensure that this battle isn't over yet.

i would have to say that AVP was a little better than AVPR but it's still a very good movie and if for nothing else, watch it to see the Predalien!!!!

Great nonstop action, with a creative script makes Aliens Vs. Predator - Requiem well worth owning. Like most folks, I caught this movie from Netflix, and liked it so much I purchased a new copy here on eBay.

The acting is strong and not corny like so many sci-fi movies are. The plot is pretty predictable, but it has a few interesting twists. This is definitely NOT for little kids do to language and pretty graphic violence, but for teens on up, it is a good time.

Great price, prompt delivery, there was on small stutter during the replay of the movie, a great find, this will be a great addition to my Alien collection. Thank You.

I really thought that after already the other Alien vs Predator movies the story would be thin or stupid!

The story is great just like the effects....
The movie is packed with action and you really wonder what's next,what's gonna happen next....

If you like the first AVP you will like this one. I bought it because i have the first one and i seen this one in theatres and it had quite a bit of action and great scenes so i decied to buy on eBay for the best deal possible since it is newer it is expensive everywhere

The sequel to the first avp is a good movie all by itself. The fact that it is a sequel is pushed aside as this movie tries to take the avp franchise to another level. The avp has a huge following & this franchise could go on forever & most fans probally won't mind. It is sometimes hard to tell who is the good guy & who is the bad guy since there is such a huge following for both. Of course the silly humans get thrown in to move the plot butt maybe one day they will make this movie without any humans, since they are unnecessary. For fans of avp, this is a must buy & for newcomers its a worthwhile movie to enjoy.

I was impressed with the first Alien Vs Predator and most of the Alien series but this movie was so poorly lit that I couldn't make out what was going on. I don't know if this was intentionally done to cover up poor effects or what but it really ruins this film. Even the daylight scenes were so dark and murky it was ridiculous. Did anyone at the studio watch this before it was released??? What a bunch of morons! How anyone could rate this movie as anything but poor is beyond comprehension. I mean what do you have to do wear night vision goggles to watch this stupid movie?

This is a well done flick. Unlike the 1st AVP which spent so much of the film setting up the AVP part, part 2 starts off right where part 1 ends and doesn't waste any time getting to the meat and tatters of the film! If you have seen AVP part 1 you will know right where things start. If not, and you are a fan of the alien movies, then odds are you will figure out what happened at the end of AVP1. If you haven't seen part 1, then you maybe a little lost. AVP2 has lots of aliens and the critters that go with them. Predator has added a few new tools to his weapons locker, but still has his old proven and trusty ones from predator 1 and 2. The FX is top shelf, A+ and believable! For me, that's the best part. As a over all movie, I give it a 7.5 out of 10. As an alien movie, 8. As a predator movie, 9! It moves at a steady, fast pace. But not so fast that you can't keep up. Over all, a good, fun sat. night movie!
