Alien Vs Predator
Anybody who's a fan of the Alien Movie Franchise, the Predator Movie Franchise, the AVP Comic Book series, or the AVP video games will love this film.
Although not exactly what I expected (I didn't like this movie the first time I watched it) it grew on me and is now one of my favorite action/horror films. Great action sequences, AVP battle scenes, and a decent cast make this movie special.
The special effects are great as usual and AVP has creepy feel to it.
Final Verdict:
4/5
Rent or Buy?: A fan of the AVP franchise, you must own this film. If you're not a fan you'll get by on just renting it.

I've seen both Predator movies, and all of the Alien movies. This movie came out when to try to start a trend of vs. movies. I honestly think it failed to do anything, but give me a laugh here and there. Honestly, the whole story and build up is great... but the way the movie is played out... and the ending... it's a bad movie. However, it does go along with the story of alien (moreso than with the Predator series).

) I am very satified with the product. My best friend and I had a Predator Movie marathon after an Alien Movie marathon and this was a good wrap up to that. AVP was a very creative film, combining two for my favorite movie monsters. I cannot say as much for AVP:Reqium.

son loves the battle in movie
) love special effects , bought because my son loves the alien vs predator,loved the predator movie that came out in the eighties so it was great to see the 2 movies kind of come together and bring the best of both. battle scenes were awesome and the details on the character are so lifelike.

So the Hollywood finally made the avp fans happy by making this movie. While not the greatest of all time, it at least got the ball rolling pairing 2 of the best villains of all time.It's truly amazing how the avp fans are split so evenly & yet are so fanatic about their favorite character. The movie was pretty good overall & what movie ever makes us totally happy? For the fans of either villain, the debate in cyberspace will rage on over who would win. In the end, we will be rewarded since sequels will pour out of this franchise now that the first one was made & cgi will only get better & better. The bottom line is that if you are a fan of this franchise you can add it to your library.

Just for the record, I read two of the comic books and this is one sweet movie. The female lead was very intelligent, the support team was skilled and the Predators were really just as dangerous as I had hoped. If you have seen either the movie Alien or Predator this double dose of trouble is sure to delight. The action was intense and the price was right.

From the first Alien movie to the first Predator movie Hollywood seems to have a handle on this genre. The movie had a decent plot, lots of action, great acting, and a suspenseful ending. Great movie going if you might like this type of movie. Watched the movie before bought the DVD to enjoy later. Loved it.

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I love all the Alien and Predator movies. I decided to buy it because this is a classic movie and I'm about to collect the entire set. Highlt recommended. The action-packed thriller is done very well and life-like, and brings to our attention the very potential real risk and possible history of the human population on this planet, and the highly likely truth that there are many other living speciespossiby, millions and millions, wherever suns shine; and many of these are obviously much farther advenced than we are. There has been extensive historical research revealed recently which proves some of the advanced beings, which were worshipped as gods and had godlike powers, battled over the earth. "and there was a war in heaven..." anyway definitely worth watching just for the special effects if nothing else.
