Alien vs. Predator (Blu-ray Disc, 2009)

AVP is a good thriller action movie. Best part i like about this movie was when the predators came and started killing everyone till they met the aliens. The big alien was ownage. Very good sci-fi movie. Recommend to watch this before watching AVP: Requiem.

I tell you, after watching X-Men 3 and now this, I have to say that other
movie studios need to use the same technology Fox does when preparing their
Blu-Ray releases. It's possible that both these movies look so good simply
because they were both filmed fairly recently, but whatever the reason, this
version of AVP looks wonderful. At any point, you can freeze frame and the
picture is crystal clear, without the slightest hint of film grain or digital
artifacts. The detail level is superb thoughout the movie, and shows you
what HD can really look like. The sound is above average as well. An underrated
Blu-Ray, although I know the movie itself got mixed reviews. <shrug> I like it.

Movie looks great! I loved this movie anyway but on blu ray, it was unbelieveable. I decided to buy it becausethe price was right.

Excellet Sc-Fi action movie. Does justice to the franchise. Keeps you on edge of seat and makes you feel empathy for the Predator Monsters lol.

*Notice do not confuse (AVP Requiem)with the Alien Franchise! That one is a dog standing on 3 legs and wobbly lol. Horrid movie not worthy of the namesake.

Product came in a reasonable amount of time & was a reasonable price. The experience of watching this particular movie on blu ray is awesome. The picture is amazing. No problems with seller. Am satisfied with purchase.

I likes this sequel Alien vs Predator.. I was a big fan of Predator I and II. This is a great movie and I would recommended to anyone want to buy this movie.

I ordered this a week before christmas, and it came with more than enough time to wrap it and put in under the tree. its condition was pristine and it was just as the seller had described. I will buy from this seller again!

Although the ALIEN movies started on a downward spiral with ALIEN 3 and the even worse ALIEN RESURRECTION, it was the scene in PREDATOR 2 in the Predator spaceship where an Alien skull was visible and the fans of both films started talking about an eventual movie with both creatures.

I also loved the PREDATOR movies, with PREDATOR 2 being my favourite and when I finally saw AVP, I was not disappointed. Even with the PG-13 rating, it had enough action and blood and gore to satisfy the most hardened fans. Whatever you do though, stay away from the terrible sequel, ALIENS vs. PREDATOR: REQUIEM. That movie, was absolutely awful and even though it was rated a hard R, the movie was just an excuse to kill as many people as possible within the running time of the movie.

I REALLY LIKE THIS MOVIE.I THINK THIS IS THE BEST OF THE SERIES BETWEEN THESE CREATURES.I LIKE HORROR MOVIES WITH A GOOD THEME.I THINK EVERYONE WILL LIKE THIS ONE.

Rather than write a long boring review, I'll keep this short and to the point. First of all, if you're a fan of the Alien and Predator franchises, this movie may, or may not please you depending on what you expect to get out of it. It's best not to think of AVP as an extension of the Alien and Predator movies because in reality, it's in a whole 'nother genre. The classic Alien and Predator movies were pure, unadulterated horror, and action. AVP is a comic book-like, stylized, fun sci-fi flick with aliens and predators in it. It's a saturday morning cartoon made live-action for grownups, and I don't mean that in a bad way. The first time I saw it, I hated it. Second time, I thoroughly felt entertained for an hour and a half because I knew not to read too much into what I was seeing and just took everything at face value. So in short, it's a fun sci-fi flick to watch, so long as you don't take it too seriously or expect it to have the same impact of the classic Alien and Predator films. Is it worth watching? Of course! Just don't bother with the theatrical version and only watch the unrated extended cut, which is luckily included in the Blu-ray disc.

AVP has always been one of my utmost favorites. I've watched this movie more than 5 times in DVD version. For blu-ray I've watched 3 times.

I don't want to tell the story. Only if you are sci-fi action movies lover, it's a must to have AVP in your collection.

Own it on DVD, Needed it on Blu-Ray being its a great movie to watch. The actor's display their skills in showing much emotions. It is an non-stop action pack movie. This movie show's both alien and Predator as equal. Either can take each other out. Not like the games, where it take Alien one hit to put down Predator and then takes the Predator four hits to get the Alien down. It has great graphic as well.

I am very happy with my purchase, Items came quickly as described and my son will love this Valentines gift, I thought shipping could have been combined at a better rate, but over all a great seller and I will buy from again!
