Lopsided and Lacking Fair Info on Pete Duel

This book has very little in it about Pete Duel, who was the reason AS&J took off and became a hit. The book goes on and on about how his suicide inconvenienced the production company and has the nerve to point out that he killed himself at a most inconvenient time for his employers -- during Sweeps Week! This is far from being the only book that you'll ever need on AS&J. Fully half if it is summaries of the episodes. But if you want to see industry types trying to convince themselves that the death of their actor-star was not their fault, give it a read.

  Alias Smith & Jones

Back when I was only 4 years old in 1971,the Tv Series "Alias Smith & Jones" first came on the air. Peter Duel was the stand-out in that show and it was a great series, then Peter died on 12-30-71.
I have a;ways wished that a book would be published about that great series and,one day I was browsing through e-bay and came across the book I am writing about. It looked like a good book,so I ordered it and after I received it,I was so pleased by the manner in which it was written`. Not only did it contain a complete episode guide to all 50 episodes, but it contains bios on the cast and behind the scenes details, plus rare photos.
An extremely well-written and executed book. If a fan of that series is skeptical about a book for that show, look no further. This book is the only AS&J book you will ever need!
