Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Season One (DVD, 2005)

I purchased this dvd because I wanted to revisit the wonderful memories I had as a child watching the great Alfred Hitchcock each week on television. I remember sitting in front of the tv in awe at the stories and their twisted endings. What an imagination Mr. Hitchcock had, not only in movies but t.v. It was so much fun watching them again. He is truly the master of the macabe.

i recall seeing these shows as a teenager and enjoyed them. Anything by Hitchcock is good. There will be a chance to see stars when they were up and coming.

Premiered on October 1st, 1955, this wonderful series ran for seven seasons, and afterwards for another 3 seasons as "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour".

This set contains the first 39 episodes of Season 1, told by the `Master of Suspense', Alfred Hitchcock. The episodes include:

Alfred Hitchcock narrated the show himself. He was always funny, sometimes made fun of his sponsors. His shows were always thought provoking and he left the ending to your imagination by some little comment at the end of the show. I look forward to wat hing these shows again.

I love the condition of the DVDs. I am extremely happy with the product and very pleased with the time of delivery!

How pathetic that those who did not receive theirs ignorantly (unknownly I guess) left a bad review the the product when in fact it was the sellers fault... NOT the fault of the DVD that they were supposed to be reviewing.

Maybe eBay can remove those that are NOT about the DVD set but a seller.

This is a most EXCELLENT set. I seen them all as a Child and so very glad that they are now being released on DVD. I plan to get them all.

The shows take me back to my youth . The stories are as interesting now as they were then . The only disappointment was the missing sponsors that Alfred Hitchcock would make fun of .

Actually, I never received this. Never got a confirmation. Thought I hadn't ordered it but would stil like to have it.
