Alf - Season 1 (DVD, 2004, Complete 1st Series)

Finally you can experience Alf again! I remember watching this show as a child, and I've missed it. Now you can share a good, clean family show with your children. Alf will make everyone laugh as he gets into trouble and tortures the cat. Recommended!

I bought this because my parents used to watch this with me and I wanted to be able to watch this with my daughter. We absolutely love to sit around as 3 generations and just laugh at the antics of ALF trying to eat the cat or ordering pizza. This is one of the best shows they ever came out with. If you are young or old you will love this dvd set. I recommend it for any DVD collectors collection. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!

Do you love tripping down memory lane? If so, you will certainly enjoy Alf - Season 1. So very campy, but so much fun. Hours of pure entertainment. You do not know if you will be rolling on the floor with laughter or groaning over the sheer insanity of it all. I bought it because I wanted it all. Alf - Season 1 leaves you wanting more of that crazy & nutty alien. I think everyone should have their very own Alf!

This is series 1 of the Alf tv show. I bought this because I enjoyed watching Alf when it was on tv and I thought my grandchildren would enjoy it too. They love it and watch it all the time. I intend to purchase the remaining 3 series of the show also.

We liked how they made us laugh. No matter how bad your day may be when you watch an Ald movie, you forget it all and just laugh. Years age when he was on tv we watched him every week. now twenty years later we are watching them with my grandchildren. I don't have to worry about langue or nudity. It's fun for the whole family.

The first season of alf was great. The special features are awesome. I bought this set for my mother for mothers day. I would sugest this set to any true ALF fan.

I watched this when it was on TV and loved it. Once it was released on DVD, I picked it up, thinking that maybe it would seem a little corny or outdated. Boy was I wrong! This is still great stuff. Alf was the King of wisecracks and had such a wonderful take on situations.
The show also did a great job of using Pop culture in their material. They often referenced other top rated shows and even incorporated them into episodes (such as the time Alf was on Jeopardy, or The Late Show, but with ed McMahon, as Alf had replaced Johnny carson).
If you follow the Simpson's, you will see that they definetely "borrowed" some of Alf's material. This shouldn't be a big surprise, though, as Al Jean, who was a more prominent writers on The Simpsons also wrote several episodes of Alf.
I am sure if you watch a few episodes, you will be hooked on this comedy and you might even find yourself saying "Ha! I kill me!"

This show is hilarious and I'm glad I bought the season dvd's. ts nice to be able to watch show from when I was a child. It brigs back a lot of memories.

Clean humor that I don't mind my kids watching. I know that they like it and that I can let them watch it without being concerned that I have to monitor them constantly.

We always loved to watch Alf, then our 7 year old daughter seen Alf and cable and she loves him too! I just wish they still made tv shows like this.

I have always loved ALF. I especially loved the Christmas episode in this edition. It showed the "compassionate" side if him that he has for his fellow man.

This is a great dvd for the whole family. I bought this dvd because I wanted to watch the ALF series once again. The shows are as funny as I remember them and the film quality is excellent. Back in 1986 when the show first came on the air it was something completely different from all other comedies and it still stands out as something unique and has stood the test of time.
If you're a fan of ALF or have heard of him I would suggest picking up this dvd along with the other dvd sets for seasons 2,3 and 4. You won't be disappointed and it will be a nice trip down memory lane for those of you that watched the show when it originally aired. :)
