This is a great book! Its very easty to understand, it and has alot of poor boy tips in it. In other words if you have been interested in home breewing but have been turned off to it by the expensive prices of equipment on home brewer supply stores, this is the book for you. Using the tips that Kania gave me, I brewed five gallons of beer with about 10 dollars worth of ingredients. AS for equipment, the 21 dollars that I paid for the book probably saved me hundreds of dollars in home brew products that I would have bought on those rip off websites. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in home brewing. This book is very broad in its discussion on homemade alcohol. It teaches everything from beer brewing, wine making, equipment crafting, wiskey distilling (which is illegal, and is filled with all sorts of short stories about bootlegging and colorful characters who have contributed to the history of homemade booze. Whoevers interested in this intoxicating, fun art will definitely love this book.
