Airport (DVD, 1999)

This classic aviation movie is well adapted from Arthur Hailey's book of the same name. Great cast and fairly realistic flight situations make it an enjoyable movie to have and keep.

what can I say? The first, the best and a keeper. one of the best movies ever. if you haven't seen it...it is a must

I love this movie. It is extremely supenceful and it is also funny at times. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great movie to watch on a Saturday night (or any night for that matter :) Just like it was when it came out in the 70's. I saw the movie when it first came out.

Fantastic Movie...Was Glad to see it again...Plenty of Action...And all my Favorite Movie Stars of the Past.

This "disaster-style" movie was quite good, with wonderful stars Dean Martin, Barbara Hale, Jean Seberg, Barry Nelson, Dana Wynter, Van Heflin, Burt Lancaster,Maureen Stapleton, and of course, that diaster film stalwart, George Kennedy (the audience looked for him in every film of this type). The movie focuses on the individuals, as well as the basic plot (problems in a snowbound airport, and in flight as well). Fast paced, with a clear script, and produced by Ross Hunter in his inimitable style (glossy and with telephone calls "montaged" onto the screen), this film shows how good films can be when done in true "Hollywood Style"...If you haven't seen this movie yet, you're in for a treat.

Always shop around. Wanted this movie for my husband, buying a "viewed once" was so much cheaper than a brand new item, same movie. Great deal.

My mother has wanted a copy of this movie for a long time, but I have not been able to find it anywhere but on ebay. I bought this because it was in good condition and know my mother will love it for Christmas. A good flick.

Great old move never boring.......Great actors and good sound.....Dean Martin great actor who plays a pilot of a Boeing 707.........
