Airdream Believer:A Retrospective-Stewart, John
Review created: 01/09/09(updated 01/09/09)
I love everything that John Stewart ever sang. I did not think anybody could could sing "The Reverend Mr. Black", but Johnny Cash---I was wrong--John Stewart nailed his version. Maybe, It has to do with being named John LOL!
When you hear Mr. Stewart's sing Daydream Believer (he wrote this)you realize that this was not suppose to be a Bubble Gum song that the Monkees made it. There is not a song on this CD that I don't enjoy--his most famous song--Gold is truly a wonderful song, but if you miss listening to more John Stewart, you will miss out on one of the best singer/songwriter's that ever lived. My only regret is Mr. Stewart has left us last year---heaven gain another angel in the choir.
