its got that average vhs quality when i burn it to a dvd with roxio but lcd monitors will show a difference battery last 3hrs 20mins on a 1000mah battery it'll take a 4gb sd card it looks like they used these on that dea show reccommend any Sanyo Xacti sd camcorder ANY! go to sanyo.com for sample test videos and pics the hd camcorders are great

I bought this camcorder on the advice of my son.

This is an ideal camera for a young teen girl to take with her and her friends to make videos. I really like the video quality and the ease of use. While the video image is good, and the stabilizer essential, my main qualm about this camera is the still imagery. The still pictures leave a lot to be desired. But then it's mostly a cam-corder anyway. The ease of playback, the standard video format, and the SD card storage are great. You can even encode videos, place them on the card, and voila! Your kid has a movie viewer. My daughter watched "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" on this thing.

The tech is about two years old now, so you can get a lot better, but not for the price. This one is still a bargain, feature per dollar.

Hello I have heard a lot of good things about this item that is why I was trying to win it. But a lass I never received it and got a refund from pay pal for it. That's all I can say.
