This movie isn't exactly family oriented but is a very good dramatic adult movie. It features a great plot and makes anyone stay silent watching. It really takes a good look at the life of the two main characters and I felt that the parts were acted rather well. I'm sure that if you like dramatic love-type films you'll love this one. Rent it first or take a chance and buy it. That's what I did.

) My wife and I had traveled to Italy in April, visited the Sistine Chapel and Florence, so thought it would be fun to see this movie about Michelangelo. From what we learned on the trip, it followed history fairly closely.

Authentic view of Renaissance art tech.
) I rented this first and knew I needed to have it for my art class. While I am sure there is some additions to the truth, the art techniques shown are the ones actually used. Impressive views and a great film. There was nothing to dislike!

This movie is very well done. Great acting and historically accurate. It will give you and your children new appreciation for the talents difficult life of Michelangelo. You will love this movie.
