Agnostic Front - Live at CBGB's (DVD, 2006, DVD+ CD)

Seminal punk band Agnostic Front's 1989 release Live at CBGB's was a blistering history lesson on the New York hardcore scene. Seventeen years later, Roger Miret and Vinnie Stigma's visceral reaction to the early-'80s new wave movement revisited the lauded venue for another ferocious lecture, this time with five Digital 24p cameras and 5.1 Surround Sound. Front classics like "Victim in Pain," "Public Assistance," and "Toxic Shock" shake the time-worn, smoke-and-grease-covered band stickers off of the club walls, and the 23-minute documentary, photo gallery, exclusive interview with Stigma, and pristine 52-minute set only bolsters the group's reputation as legend of the genre.

Agnostic Front is a band that's gotten me through some hard times. Their "One Voice" album in particular has been with me through the worse of times and helped give me the strength I needed during my 33 years of struggle. It speaks for me lyrically as it does for alot of folks I am sure. Seen em live a couple of times and figured I would check out this video.

This video is simply a high quality live show at CBGB's with plenty of sing-a-long, pile-on, stage diving action. There are no interviews between the 52-minute set giving you the feel of a live show. Following the set is a 23-minute documentary, photo gallery, exclusive interview with Stigma and a live second disk bonus CD.

My roots are in Hardcore (def. Expression of how we live. Not following anyone's lies.) and AF are legends in the Hardcore community. I love to put this video in to remind me of our way, our life, and our scene!

This is one sick DVD,I LOVE it, it is filmed in the legendary CBGB in New York City, Roger Miret and AF, a must have for any true hardcore fan!
