This is an excellent book that is for all women who are seeking good health. Easy reading. Finished it in 2 days!

I just loved this book!!!! Suzanne Somerss gives the readers valuble information on aging gracefully and healthy!!If you are approaching that time of change as a woman it is so important to read this...Gives you so many ideas and information about products are doctors just tell us to take.

My wife was going through some pretty tough times about 4 years ago; stress, anxiety, uncontrollable emotional swings. Doctor after doctor offered medication to hide the symptoms, but no one could diagnose what was making her completely dysfunctional. After a weekend of my poor wife lying in bed in such an anxious state that she was incapacitated and nauseous, I saw Suzanne Somers on a morning show talking about her first book, The Sexy Years. It sounded though she was talking about my wife as she described herself in her pre-bioidentical days. I ordered the book and gave it my wife. She wept page by page as she saw her plight spelled out so clearly. The tough part was finding a doctor that would test and listen per SS recommendations. After the first month of hormone therapy, we new that was the right solution and have great ever since.
This second book is less biographical and more informational than The Sexy Years, but I would recommend either without hesitation. If you are taking the time to read this, chances are you are looking for answers where there have been none for you from the medical community. Too many women (and men) suffer needlessly through middle age as there bodies change. There are answers and help for those who have an open mind and don't access the conventional "take this pill" diagnosis. This is one husband that owes a lot to SS and her efforts.

I loved this book.It gave me a whole new look into NATURAL hormones and taught me things I never knew.Suzanne Summers is a wonderful person and truely cares about the women who are not being given the truth by their doctors.

LOVE IT!!!! A book all women (men too) should read. I knew that our medical system was goofed up and now Suzanne offers us a way to undo the madness!!!

Hormones have to be balanced before anything else,

then, sex, weight loss, etc can happen..It's a great book for us olders.

Plenty of information on Natural Bioidentical Hormones. Interviews with leading professional doctors in the field of anti ageing. Suzanne asks questions we would like to ask to find out the latest on health as we age and getting to a better place. Questions that the average person would not be able to find out as easily in trying to become informed on natural alternatives to make better informed choices. The book also includes information on doctors that specialize in anti ageing listed in the back of her book. Great resource, great gift for a friend, great information. I recommend it.

I am a 32-year-old woman who started feeling "off" about three years ago. When I recently started discussing my issues with weight gain and other symptoms, my close friend and chiropractor suggested I read this book. I was skeptical at first, but I decided to purchase and read "Ageless." I cannot stress forcefully enough how glad I am that I read this book. I saw myself in every page, and by the end of the book, I had decided to seek natural treatment for my symptoms and for my Crohn's disease. I now have an appointment with one of the doctors from the book, and for the first time in three years, I am waking up with hope for a body that has seemed to have turned against me over time. I think ALL women should read this book. You do not have to be in your 50's to start having issues with your body! Our society is facing physical ailments related to hormonal imbalance earlier and earlier. Chronic diseases are becoming so commonplace that we are no longer shocked to find out that a 20-year-old person has been diagnosed with a disease that will debilitate him/her for the rest of his/her life! This is madness, and what is more, it seems as if our modern healthcare system is blind to it! There may indeed be help for us, and "Ageless" is a good place to start looking.

Ageless is a wonderfully enlightening book. I have learned so much about the human body and aging. It has spurred me into seeing a doctor the Suzanne Somers recommends.

I saw Suzanne Somers review of this book on the "Today Show". This is a must read for everyone. I believe in taking care of ourselves "naturally" if we can. This book gives a lot of information on hormone replacement and how to go about talking to your doctor to do this. I love that Suzanne has given the names and contact information in this book. What I don't like is that the prices some of the doctors are charging cannot be afforded by everyone. I understand this is still new so they are trying to make as much money as they can before everyone else. I feel some people are doctors to help others and others are in it only for the money. In rural areas if you are in it for the money, you don't last very long.
I feel there are too many synthetic drugs out there destroying our bodies. How many thousands of our elderly are taking drugs for one thing and have to take more drugs to counteract the side effects of the first drug, etc. Commercials on tv and magazines have more drug ads than ever. Foods have more additives to make you want more. Our children are becoming more & more obese. What kind of world are we making for our children & the future? I feel like the food companies & drug companies are in it together. They get us to eat more food with the additives, gain weight, come down with illnesses, then the drug companies come in with the drugs to try and heal us. It seems to be a never ending circle. It's time for the people to stand up and demand a change.

I bought this after seeing an interview recently on 60 Minutes,I think it was. A female was asking Suzanne questions,about this book and altho she tried her best to put Suzanne on the spot, Suzanne handled the rudeness with class. Thus my interest was peaked so I bought it to find out, to my surprise, this makes sense! I've even gone so far as to find a doctoc in my area who will deal with natural hormones. (Be prepared,it is expensive to start)I can't wait to see if it works. Better yet, this new doctor handed me a diet to start.(Surely my high bp and weighing too much doesn't enter the picture of hormones)Guess what! It does!! Anyway, after looking at the diet he handed me, it's Atkins!! I tried that once. Too restrictive! Soooo, I buy Suzanne Somers' diet books,there are 3 or so. I start tomorrow. Can't wait to see if it works for me.

OK, I gave it my best shot and the natural hormones just did not work for me. We adjusted them several times and my poor husband put up with me during this time. I don't know how he stood it. I barely could stand myself! Now I'm on a patch and it's working beautifully!!

This is a great book full of information for either male or female. Tells how to take better care of yourself, and look younger and feel great. Lots of information along with some resources, DRs. etc. Must read at age 50 and up, but would be great for any age.

Suzanne Somers has paved the way for us. She has done the work, the research and has been the test dummy. She has graciously chosen to share all of her findings with us. I totally agree with her view of the new medicine. It is coming and if we want to live healthy as long as we can, there it is for us to reach out and accept. Thank you, Suzanne, so much more than words can say. I feel like a new person in the short 10 days that I have been taking bio-identicals. Can't wait to get my hubby on them too!

Ageless is for any age, either sex! My wife is 64 with ALL the PMS symptoms.
My daughter is 38. My son is 38. We all need to read this book to understand what hormones are doing to our bodies - and what we can do naturally to fix them through bioidentical hormone replacement theropy. Well written.Education material that helps people .She discusses ,as example, hormones ,deoderants and other chemicals tha affect you.

I bought this copy for a friend, as I have one already and will never loan it out because I have so many things highlighted in it for my own reference. I am on my 3rd book on bio-identical hormones and in the process of testing mine with an alternative-type doctor. All the books say the same thing....bio-identicals are the secret to living as long and disease free as possible. Suzanne's book, however, is the EASIEST to understand in first learning about how hormones work in your body. She interviews 16 doctors, she's not writing it all herself and doesn't try to pass herself off as a doctor. She's telling you what worked for her. I feel that I too have been trying to convince people to find a doctor (a compounding pharmacy can give you a list of doctors in your state or area that prescribe BHRT's), get your hormones tested if you are over 35 and supplement them if they are low. I feel like I have found the fountain of youth and I want to share it with anyone who will listen. Now I understand why she wrote the book---to get the word out there! Do you actually think drug companies have your health as their number 1 priority? I'm sorry to say, but no. Their number 1 priority is to make MONEY. Lots of it. If they happen to help you, so be it. Always follow the money trail and ask yourself---who benefits??? Bio-identicals can't be patented. It's exactly like insulin. Insulin is a hormone and cannot be patented because it has to be made EXACTLY identical to what your body makes or else it won't work. If your body needed insulin, would you not take it? Of course not. It's a hormone and it's not your enemy. You need ALL your hormones at peak levels to keep disease and cancers at bay. It's common sense. Even if you disagree, READ BOOKS AND LEARN. Dare to break out of the brainwashing of someone telling you you don't need hormone replacement. The only thing you DON'T need is synthetic hormones made by drug companies. These are what are dangerous. Synthetic hormones are like substituting a pinch of salt in a recipe for a pinch of chlorine. Synthetics hormones poison and they are the ones to stay away from.
