Afterwords by Collective Soul (CD, Aug-2007, El Music Group)

This album is just refreshing. This is the second release under CS's own label, El Music and couldn't be more in line with what I expected after Youth. There's a multidimensional progression going on that I can't quite put into words. There's the fun tunes: Hollywood (recently featured in the new American Idol preview commercials) and New Vibration. There's the melodic ones: Georgia Girl, Adored. All short, to the point, quality tunes. Great work of Joel Kosche in I Don't Need Anymore Friends. This is a CD to pop in on your way to work. It's uplifting, positive, without being embarassing, if you know what I mean. It's the CD you can give to your girl that you will also enjoy.
I have been playing this CD since it came out in August and I'm not sick of it!

I have everything put out by CS and they have never let me down. Each song by them is strong enough to stand on their own, but having them in a CD is like getting a bonus of different music. I love the solid feel to each song, voices are fabulous and the music is well arranged and executed. I think, if the album has Collective Soul on it, it is worth having....no matter if you had heard of it or not. Grab this, add it to your collection. You'll be glad you did!

It's collective soul! Even without founding lead guitar member, they still belt out fantastic rock. Ed Roland has done some excellent song writing,You will enjoy this CD if you are a Collective Soul fan.
