The album was good. I was specifically looking for the title "Afternoon Delight" so I bought the whole album. It was a good deal and I enjoyed hearing thier other music that I had not heard before.

I haven't heard their music in a long time. Bought me back to my childhood when I used to spin those old records on my stereo. Music sounds great!!!

Sounds just as fresh today as it did back in the 70's.
Starland Vocal Band was a very under-rated group in their day.
No group had better harmony with pure rich voices.
Very few bands then or today have the type of arrangments that they had.
And very few songwriters can craft a song the way that Bill Danoff can.
Bill, Taffy, Jon and Margot. You still inspire me to this day.

I used to have a copy of this album that I recorded from the actual album on a very cheap cassette tape and I loved all the songs and would play it while I would go on long trips. I lost it a few years ago and just decided to see if I could find a copy on ebay. I was so excited when I found it on CD. I am thrilled with it. Thank you so much!!!

) This is a cd for the 70's easy listening folks. Even tho this group didn't have but ONE big hit, this cd is full of little surprises. The hits are the number one pop hit"Afternoon Delight", "Hail,Hail Rock and Roll" and "California Day". The reason I bought this CD is for the NON HIT "The Light Of My Life" this should have been released as a single, one of the best song this group ever recorded. But then, it was the same year that Debbie Boone's song "You Light Up My Life" hit the charts.
