Fast Read. Easy to take small tips from the book & use in a failing marriage. Somewhat difficult for the offender to read, but excellent for the hurt party in a relationship. I have read the book 4 times over the last 6 months & have been able to pick up new meaningful tips to use each time. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to save their marriage, but the book must come into your life at the right time or it may not be of any help.

This is a great book, not only for counselors (such as myself, I am a pastor) but for couples who are dealing with the pain and rebuilding of trust when one or the other has been unfaithful. The book deals with realities of feelings and emotions that the one betrayed is actually experiencing...and the feelings and emotions of the one who betrayed is actually feeling. Great Book!

I have bought and read several books about affairs since I found out my husband was having one.This book was, by far, the best.
As I began to read it, I felt like the author had reach into my heart and pulled out all MY thoughts and feelings, and was writing about them. It has helped me understand so much.
We still have a long way to go, and I am still not sure where the road is leading, but this book has given me hope and understanding in a world I felt suddenly turned upside down ands inside out.
I highly recommend this for anyone who has/is going through this. If you decide to stay or leave, this book will help bring new light to all aspects of the darkness you've found yourself in.
It has brought me so much peace. And I feel confident that weather I eventually choose to stay or leave, that I will be able to make the best decision for me and my children, because I have learned so much throughout the pages of this incredible writing.

This book contains the very basic and painful questions a person has regarding infidelity and the author answers those questions openly and (sometimes brutally) honestly. Although this book was published over 10 years ago, most of the basic difficulties a person struggles with in trying to deal with infidelity in their own life remains the same. This is a good book for simple answers. Ultimately, acceptance of anything in life, good or bad, comes from inside each of us alone.

A good book that is sensitive and objective regarding such an emotional issue. The book arrived within the time frame as promised and in great condition.

THis book was recommended by my marriage counselor. It helped me gain control of some of my emotions and actions. The only down side is if your spouse doesn't read it, and want to work on your relationship, you can't fix your marriage. I think it is good for divorced people too. I think it helps heal some of the pain. >^,,^<
