I always liked Lisa Stansfield. I had her tape back in the 90's but lost it and have been unable to find it. I am glad I found it on Ebay.

So happy to have access to this CD again - an old favorite that never gets old! All Around the World was the big hit but there are lots more poppy goodies with great hooks on here, and Lisa belts them out with aplomb. Doesn't even feel dated - still relevant today; and her deep earthy voice and style are a refreshing change from the "little girl" voices of most female singers today.

If you are a fan of Lisa Stansfield, You'll like this CD. Simple as that. If you're not a fan, but you've heard some stuff by her that you like, or if you primarily like her danceable Acid Jazz/R&B material, you'd be better of with her Greatest Hits (Biography) CD.

The tracks are good, they bring back some beats and sounds from the club hopping scene of the early nineties. The All Around The World track however is different in beat and quality with most of the other tracks falling short around it. You would need to be a total fan to think of the rest of the cd as comporable, just good for faint background music. If you're a fan then you might enjoy te entire cd but as for me the first three tracks sum up the entire cd.
