Aesop's Fables (1947, Hardcover, Deluxe)

I wanted my grand child to read, (and hopefully) enjoy the fables that helped shape my thought processes as a child. This book was exactly what I was looking for, containing all the well known fables, as well as the lesser known ones. I love the life lessons that Aesop states after each short story

My mom bought this book for me when I was a kid and I loved it. I had my copy stolen along with Autobiography of a Yogi! And I could not remember what it looked like. When I got this, I said,"yes, this is it". This has many of his fables with nice hand drawn pictures too, with the Application(the moral) at the bottom of each story.Really good for children and adults too! by Grosset and Dunlap
