Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl in 3-D (DVD, 2005)

This is a great movie!!!! My little girl has been running around screamming shes lava girl for weeks. The movie is so great for kids. I really liked it. Not gross like alot that have been comming out. Well worth my money.

my kids like it one is 4yr old and 11yrs old. I thought it very unrealistic. but thats my opinion. Kids like it so us parents buy it. But i wouln't watch it again. Glad I didn't take my kids to the movies to see it. Not worth it.

Excellent movie, the grandkids watch it over and over. They had rented it from the video store and said it was a great movie and it was. Couldn't find it in the stores cause it was a 2005 movie so i found it on ebay, for a great price.

My boys love this movie, i have twin boys i bought it for them they watch this movie over and over. i recommend this movie for your kids.

Borrowed a copy from the library that did not have the glasses so the kids wanted to see what a 3-D movie was all about

The graphics and animation are terrific! The story is great. My son loves this movie. Everything is great about this movie! I highly recommend it for the kids.

We watched Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D on Starz and my son fell in love with the movie. It is a great battle for good and evil. The characters are inventive and easy to get to know.

My boys love this movie. They like how it is so imaginary with lava girl having powers and how strong shark boy is. They want toys that I never knew existed so I have been trying to buy them.

My kids like having the option of watching it in 3-D or regular. It's a good message for kids. My 3 and 5 yr olds love to dance to the music at the end.

I bought this movie because my daughter saw it and a friends house and loved. She still want to watch it every day. Great movie for a kids imagination!

I bought it for a 3 year old boy that we keep in our home. He loves it and watches it over and over. This movie is appropriate for boys or girls and would make a good family movie.

My 5 year old Granddaughter loves this movie. I tivoed it and she watches it non-stop when she comes to visit. So I decided to get her the CD for Christmas. It was a highlight of her presents!! It's a great movie for the 4-10 yr olds!!

Ok my 5 year old daughter was in LOVE with this movie and we rented it-well, I couldn't return it because she was watching it EVERY day and we usually don't just "buy" movies. So I decided to search for a price "new" and bought this movie about a month ago and received it quickly and loved the fact it was brand new with the 3D glasses! Great price and she absolutely fell in love with "Lava Girl" because she was brave and "Shark Boy" was strong and they worked together as a "team"-really cute, good effects and the spin with 3D was too cool! Good kid movie-I recommend it

This movie was very suprising to me, I didn't expect it to be as fun as it was. This movie is all about imagination, heroes, and dreams. Max is the dreamer in the film and also the hero, though he does not know it... yet. He has a great adventure with his "dream heroes" Sharkboy & Lavagirl. Max learns a lot about himself along the way, just like in every good kid movie.
My 3 year olds picked out this movie to watch. I have one boy and one girl. They both love this movie so much that they beg to watch it at least once a week.
The only major downfall for the movie is; if you are an adult or have older kids, Sharkboy and Lavagirl may leave you kind of cold. The acting is not fabulous but not horrible by the young actors and the story is up for debate. Personally, I thought it was pretty well thought out for a "children/family" film, my husband on the other hand just didn't. I guess it's all in the way you look at things - if you're a kid at heart you'll probably think it's cute.

The movie was great for the entire family. I have a 3, 10 , & 14 year old and they all enjoyed the movie.

I took my 3 kids ages (at the time) 7, 4 & 3 to see this. They loved it so much and like to pretend that they are Shark Boy and Lava Girl. So, I bought it for my son for his 5th birthday. We have watched it at least 5 times since his birthday!

This is a very entertaining movie which is a hard-to-find item. There are bits and pieces of science info scattered within the movie. The 3-d glasses makes it ever so special

I have two boys, 6 and 3. When they saw parts of this movie on the Disney channel, they kept asking to see it again. Of course I don't have control over the Disney programming, (what kind of mom am I?) so we went on ebay to find it. Now that we have our own, both of our boys watch it over and over again. Great show! Lots of graphics, excitement, and dream world.

I ordered Sharkboy and Lava Girl as a gift for my great-nephew. He and his sister love it!

I rated the experience "good" only because there was a misunderstanding about my payment. I thought when I paid through Paypal that took care of everything, but apparently I should have gone through the seller's checkout, too. When I got notice from PayPal that I had made the purchase, I thought I was through. Everything worked out fine in the end.

Not sure why my daughter has had a lifelong fascination with snakes and sharks, but she does. And as this is the case (and as she gravitates towards movies with such things in them), I am glad that this movie is endurable. Almost any 'made for kid' movie -excluding those animated films meant for an accompanying audience- gets under the skin by the twelfth showing. This show at least seems to go by quickly enough..or at least I am in a haze b/c of the 3D effects. My daughter loves it. She is happy while watching it. So, I like it too. (but would not watch it on my own.)

My grandson just loves this DVD and thank you so much. It is brand new. Great seller. I received very timely. This DVD could not be found in any store.

This is a simple movie and a bit silly most of the time. I bought it because my 3 year old son LOVES the movie. We DVR'd it off Disney Channel one night and thats all he has watched since. So for his birthday I ordered it off ebay for him. I keeps the kids in one spot and quiet for about 90 min. That gives me time to get a few things done and know they are not geting into trouble!
