The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones - Volume 1 (DVD, 2007, Checkpoint)

I bought this for my children who were excited to see the TV series that was based on the successful film trilogy. I had only caught a few episodes myself back in the day, and didn't really care for it.

However, now grown up, and watching it again, I did not realize that the shows, were actually 2 hour mini-movies for television, which could have been my initial dislike when I was younger (looking more for a typical hour series). But I really like the fact that Lucas has gone back and done mini-documentaries on the famous people that indy meets in every episode. This in my opinion makes the series worth taking a second look at.

Overall, the first season is good, although some episodes are still a little too slow for younger children.
