Had tmost of these on VHS but nothing beats having this series with the extras in order. If you grew up with George Reeves' Superman, this is the last of a great momento. I recommend collecting all six seasons.

I have always the original Superman from the fifties. The special effects were not as elaborate as today, but the cast was perfect and worked together to make a great series.

They are great, remind of the old days when the show was on the air. I bought it so I would have all six seasons for a piece of history and also for one day my grand children will be able to watch them. The picture quality is great.

The Real Deal
) I bought the Adventures of Superman complete 5th and 6th seasons to show my children that the movies and televisions are real in life. Sometime a little imageation can go a long way. The picture and sound are the best coming from dvds. The down side they how more up to dates with the stars.

Superman 5th and 6th Season DVDWho doesn't like Superman? It's simple fun and entertaining to watch and filmed at a point in time when television was able to compete with movies. I watched Superman as a kid and still enjoy it. I bought the "Complete Superman Series" including this one. It's a good way to take a break from modern television shows and have a laugh too! It's really a shame that George Reeves was never able to see himself immortilized on television by millions of people fifty years after his passing.

If for nothing more than sweet nostalgia evryone who remembers watching the old George Reeves series has to have this entire collection in their library.
I put these on and I'm a little kid again watching re-runs on Sunday morning on WPIX channel 11. After that would be the Lone Ranger and after that a Tarzan film. Ahh..sweet sweet NOSTALGIA !

My wife bought me the complete First Season of Superman for Christmas this year,and when I saw that I could get the rest of the series, I didn't hesitate. Now I own the complete set and they are all just fantastic. This set was well worth the cost. Very highly recomended.

SUPERMAN LIVES AGAIN!!!
) truly a must have for any Superman fan.Here you can see George Reeves in all his true glory as Superman and respectable portrayal of clark Kent.Even though the effects are not up to par by today's standards this is what makes it enjoyable. The innocence of a time and era that we will never see again.Well written and acted by a terrific cast.In color or black and white you should collect all episodes that become available so you can introduce your children to the REAL superman and the actor who made him immortal.
