The Adventures of Ma and Pa Kettle - Volume 2 (DVD, 2004)

ma & pa kettle movies are always good old family entertainment. maybe someday they will redo them in color.

I have now bought both volume 1 and volume 2 of Ma & Pa Kettle movies, which all began when they were introduced as Fred McMurray and Claudette Colbert's neighbors in the movie "The Egg and I" which is part of this series. I like to show my grandkids and great-grandkids how genuinely funny the old black and white movies can be without violence, sex, nudity and foul language. I loved those movies when they were first introduced, and now I own DVDs of them so that I can watch them any time I like. And someday, after I'm gone, perhaps as my great-grandchildren watch those old movies they will understand my world a little bit better!

I Love These Movies, Good Clean Humor That The Whole Family Can Enjoy From Start To Finish, I Have Played These Over & Over Again And Never Get Bored, Had Them On VCR Tapes And After Passing Them From Friend To Friend They Just Quit Playing So I Invested In The DVD Versions. Need A Good Laugh Try These DVDS !

I bought this movie for my husband, he loves these types of movies. This is an excellent seller, the transaction went very smoothly. The shipping was very fast. The only complaint I had was the fact that I bought volumes 1 & 2 at the same time and still paid the shipping on each DVD, but the price wasn't bad.

I was disappointed with the movies, not the seller. I saw a small clip from one of the movies and thought it would be entertaining.I wasn't.My mistake.

I bought this DVD because I wanted to watch one of my favorite childhood shows. And I wasn't disappointed. It was great.

I love it, I wanted it because it was a show I enjoyed watching as a child. Still just as funny as an adult.

My mom was born and raised in Southern Kentucky and watched these episodes when she was a girl. They hold such precious memories for her and thoroughly enjoys each show.

Excellent merchandise but very very slow shipping. Ordered merchandise on April 25 and received DVD on May 30th. Other than shipping I am satisfied.

the dvds i purchased were for my aunt who loves her classic movies from her time she watched them twice already and each dvd had 6 hours of film she must have really liked them thanks

When we saw that Ma and Pa Kettle was available it brought back memories,if you do not own this dvd you are missing some great comedy. The price was reasonable too.

I bought this as a Christmas but I watched these movies while I was growing up and they were really funny. The couple I bought it for loved it also. These are great to watch if you are looking for a laugh or need to cheer up.

HAD THE 1ST DVD. LOVED WATCHING THESE OLD MOVES AS A CHILD. VERY GOOD CLEAN COMEDY!! NO ONE WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM SHOWING THESE GREAT MOVIES TO SMALL CHILDREN. twh1964

When I was young, my mom would let me stay up late to watch "The Adventures of Ma and Pa Kettle" on Friday night. She said they were some of her favorite movies from her own teen years. I am so excited to find these classical movies. They will be a perfect gift for mom this Christmas. I can't wait for her to open them up!

If you enjoy comedy Ma and Pa Kettle will keep you laughing from start to finish. Life is always a piece of excitement with the Kettles. I remember as a child, my mother would talk about the Kettles. Not only are the DVDs funny but they bring back memories of days long ago.

The adventures of the Kettles, versions 1 & 2 are good clean comedy, A lost artform, unlike most so-called "family movies" of today(other than pixar animation). A lot of laughs that your whole family can enjoy together.

What a great movie. I just love the way Ma controls the roost. Pa's role had the personality of many of the older male figues of today. They always try to get out of things to do and I'll get to it attitude. I enjoy showing it to my grandchildren so they can see what it was like in the "Good Old Days" for us. They were great years.

You remember how funny Percy Kilbride was. You remember that Margery Mains ruled the roost (literally) with an iron hand in a velvet glove. You remember how much fun this movie was. You're right
