The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (VHS, 1993)

By far the best version of this timeless Mark Twain classic I have had the pleasure to watch. The pages of the book come to life on screen in a very realistic way. Seeing the movie is just about as I imagined it when I read the story as a young boy for the very first time back in the late 1960's. The more you watch this version, you begin to believe that Mickey Rooney is really Huck Finn and not an actor. A great supporting cast too! Just a great enjoyable movie from beginning to end. Not a weak moment anywhere. A hard movie to find anywhere and it's not available on DVD. If you can find a copy to watch you are sure to enjoy it. I have watched it several times and never get tired of watching it at all! Lots of fun for everyone of any age!
