The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers by Scott Kelby (2008, Paperback)

This is the third book I have bought, written by S. Kelby. He has a very 'down to Earth' style written by and for photographers. The advantages are outlined and his opinions are honest. I would recommend this book to anyone who has used Lightroom 1 and wants to get the most out of Lightroom 2! Well worth the money. The first 'ah-ha' feature he points out, that makes your favorite picture pop, will make you a believer too!

This book was required for a Lightroom 2 class that I was taking at our local community college. I found this book on Ebay and ordered it. What really imoressed me was that the seller delivered this to me personally. He lived appoximately 1 1/2 hours from my home. I enjoyed sharing the story of the home delivery of this book with my other class members. My instructor said that my story was the first one she had heard from any student after the purchase of the book. The book was also in very good condition.

Wonderful resource for the beginner and advance photographer that wishes to increase their productivity. This book is very well written and the work flow that it lays out for you is very detailed yet simple. It takes you through beginning to end from the process of uploading you photos to printing them and everything else in between. The author wrote the book more like a personal journey rather than a technical manual. This makes reading and learning Lightroom2 more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this book for both users new and old to Lightroom2 for the simple fact that it teaches you everything you need to know and how to apply it to everyday situations. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

I purchased this book as a school photography requirement. As a beginner using Lightroom, I enjoyed the fact that Kelby took it step-by-step with picture examples in Mac and Windows commands. He breaks down each Lightroom tab to the simpliest form. I would recommend this to anyone from beginners to professionals!

As usual Scott Kelby books cut through all the crap you don't need to know. He shows you beginning to end how LR 2 works best and saves the reader a ton of time. Kelby rules!!!
