Adams Tight Lies GT Iron set Golf Club

I have been using a custom set of Golf Smith XPC plus's for about 7 years. While they are good clubs I thought I would give new technology a try without having to take a second mortgage on the house. I decided to give the Adam's GT3's a try, and am I ever glad I did!

I got a brand new set on E-bay for $197.50 shipped, and was impressed by the looks right away.

I took them to the range and immediatly saw a 10 to 15 yard improvement on my yardage with each club. I also was trying my friends new Ping G-5's at the same time to compare them, and the distance was the same.

I am a 27 handicap and the first time I used them, I shot a 97. 2 weeks later I shot a 92! This past weekend was our club championship and I took 2nd in my flight by shooting a 92 & 93 losing first place by 1 stroke (because I choked) not the clubs.

My favorite club in the bag is the sand wedge. I have never been able to hit my Northwestern wedge off the deck at all, but I can hit the Adam's great! I now have a perfect 80 yard club. At address is looks just like the rest of the clubs, I think thats why I can hit it so well, no funny rounded bottom.

If you are looking at trying some new technology, you owe it to yourself to check these out. Great clubs, at a price that can't be beat. Adam's has hit a home run (or should I say eagle) with these!

A friend recommended Adams Tight Lies as a great set for a beginner - well I am not disappointed one bit - I tried 2 other sets before this and there is no comparison - this where you should start.

Even the local pro shop recommended the set but their price was about 200 more than my piecing it together on eBay :-)

My game is horrible - I am a beginner but this set immediately brought some improvement (don't ask me how - I just notice it when I play) The clubs are forgiving (the pro shop guy explained what this means) and allow you to improve and continue to use them even as you get better.

This is the best beginner set out there - Next step for me - lessons :-)

I love the way they feel in my hands and in my swing. I noticed a big improvement in my game the first time on the course with them, and I am pretty much a hacker. They are great for a beginner or a hacker who is looking to improve their game. I am sure glad I decided to go with the Adams Tight Lies.

My husband had called several friends while we were watching the auction for this item, and with several good comments about the product, we decided to bid on this item. We won and waited fo them to arrive. My husband has used them once since we got them and he loves them, and we got a very good deal on them. We did check prices on this item at several local retailers and discovered what a great bargin we got for this item. He is very pleased with them.

i've played a couple of times with them since i've gotten them. there great, i'm 3 times as accurate with these than with my last set. very pleased with the clubs

I have played many different irons--including more famous and expensive lines such as Callaway X-12s, among others--and I searched for years for the right irons. These are the best I've ever played, by a good margin, actually. The model I play is the Tight Lies GT Ultimate, which has the GT (graphite tip) shaft and very little offset. They set up almost like blades and have a very clean, simple clubhead design. The most amazing things about these irons is the feel. They are the best feeling sticks I have ever hit, and this includes forged sets I have played. They're also _long_ and very accurate. The best way to summarize it? A player's club with a midsize head and minimal offset, but with as much forgiveness as many "game improvement" irons. I have no idea why Adams stopped making this club or this shaft. A word to the wise: there are many different models of Adams Tight Lies and GT irons out there, so you need to pay attention to the specifics of the model you are interested in--and not just the shaft. In the meantime, I'm looking to by a backup set, because I know these will be increasingly hard to find.

The Price Was right. This set makes a good starter set.
I bought the set as a prize for a golf tournament.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The clubs are new and still in the box and wrapper. I received them within one week of payment and paid less than I would have for a set of used knock-off clubs.

This was just what it said they were, a good product and great shipping, can't get any better than that.
