Adams Speedline Fairway Wood Golf Club

I purchased the Adams Speedline 5 Wood from Melissa and Nicholas and am very happy with it. They were slightly behind on shipping the item out because of an illness, but were gracious enough to let me know and that they would get it out as soon as possible. It shipped on a Monday and I had it Wednesday. Everything came as descriped and they even threw in a sleeve of Bridgestone golf balls for me to try out. I was impressed with this fairway wood-hybrid from the start, but waited until I had several rounds completed to see how it worked under a variety of conditions before submitting this review. The course I play is mainly Bermuda, with only small areas having fescue.

The speedline 5 wood has as good a distance as any on the market, plus I can hit it out of fairly nasty bermuda rough (this stuff destroys my iron shots), off the sides of hills, and combinations of both with ease. 'Ease' is the key word here, my friends. It is also great off the fairway or teed low. I'm a weekend golfer hitting in the low 90s to mid 80s. For me this is the best of all worlds.

I own a speedline driver and really like it, when this club came i thought it was going to be just a fairway wood only. I was a little disappointed when it ended up being a hyrid with alonger shaft but once I started to hit wth it on the driving range, wow i was easily hittng this club 220 to 240 off the ground. Ok but what about on the course? Well on apar 5 I hit a drive about 240 leaving about 260 to the green usually i lay up and chip on but I thought what the heck, grabed this club, flew the creek and landed 20 feet from the apron so close I was able to bump and run in for an eagle. I have three sets of clubs and this club is in the first string bag.
