Excellent value in a movable weight club. With it's standard shaft and the ability to change the shot style of the club at a fraction of the price of the Taylormade R7 Quad, the 430Q is an outstanding value!

  Adams 430Q driver

A great consistent driver(both for accuracy + distance) with the NVS regular shaft....Having tried most of the 430Q settings,I've found(with my approx.90 mph swing) the straightest shots result by placing the 2X10 gram weights in the heal positions. This is my 2nd Redline driver...last year I used their original model with good sucess but the 430Q is a real step-up. I find a ball position, off my front heal (or my instep- if I'm trying to really hammer it) plus using a low spin, low compression ball(like a Laddie) works best for me.
Try it.. you'll love it!!

  Improve distance and accuracy

About a month ago, I purchased an Adams Redline RPM 430Q 9.5 driver golf club and instead of going to the driving range to check it out, I decided to take it to a local course for a round of golf. I carry Titleist woods in my bag and normally hit a medium draw to an occasional hook off the tee. To my surprise, my first hit off the first tee (with my usual setup for a draw) produced a shot that went straight! I then corrected my setup and hit straight shots down the center of the fairway for the rest of round. The adjustable weights were set at neutral and I experimented with the weights to produce draws and fades. I also like the feel of the grafalloy prolaunch 65S stiff flex shaft. I found that I increased my driving distances by 10 to 20 yards. Subsequents rounds have proven similar results! The thing I dislike about the club is the adjustable weights system and having to interchange weight screws for fades and draws. It gets complicated trying to remember or reference which screws in which position produces the shots that you're looking to hit. Overall, I highly recommend buying this club if you're looking to improve distance and accuracy and don't mind working with the adjustable weights system.

Gretat club at a great price

I bought the driver to match a new set of Adams irons that I love and the driver has been a dynamite addition to my bag. The ability to move weights on the club to help draw or fade is nice for a weekend golfer. The seller was a open and honest guy who delivered a product that matched the description. I bought the club based upon my success with the Adams A2 OS irons and the driver hasn ot disappointed.

Excellent Driver - Good Value For Money

After 2 - 3 months with it, I love the Adams 430Q driver. With the driver from my beginner set, I found I was frequently slicing off the tee (I shoot right). At a club fitting session, which I would also highly recommend, the fitter described the old driver as basically an 'epoxy stick' with not much torsional stiffness. With my radar - measured swing speed of 98 MPH that shaft would twist on impact and open the club face, resulting in a slice. This Adams driver sure cured that; it is the 10.5 degree model with the Aldila NVS stiff shaft. I use it in the neutral setting for now, but wow, what a difference - longer drives and more in the fairway, provided I take the time to follow good swing mechanics. More than once this season the ball has rolled to a stop about 300 yards from the tee, getting a good 250 in the air. Really inspires confidence at the tee.

I bought this golf club because I wanted to try a club with adjustable weight ports that could change and alter ball flight. The club works quite well. It is my golf swing that is not working well. I was familiar with the club before I purchased it and did not find anything that I disliked about it.

This driver is awsome. Blast the ball right down the fairway. Easy to adjust weights let you mend the club to your needs.

It was a nice item and in very good shap. I was looking for a new driver because my old Red Line driver was cracked. I liked that is came with the weights and the instruction book on how to use it.

Great Club. It increased my distance a minimum of 40 yards per drive, taking a 58 year old from 210 to 250-260 per drive. My golfing partners think I'm on steroids.

Ok, I tried the R7 425 Quad, and found that it was OK, but the face was too shallow - This driver was the answer! It hits great, easy to control and just yesterday I spanked one 280 Yards! Just a great value! My next idea is to try increasing the weight for more distance, here we go!

I have played with the 2nd Generation Redline Driver (460cc) for approx. 2 yrs.
Most of my group are playing the Taylormade R7 which is an excellent option, but I am partial to Adams. Without a Test Drive, I took a leap of faith and purchased the 430Q on your auction site. I am thrilled with the product and the results. I gained an avg. 20 yds off the Tee, but the most dramatic improvement is Fairways hit. I am now in the Fairway more times than not with the increased distance as dessert. I highly recommend this Driver to anybody that is in the market.

  Adams 430Q Driver

Great club for the price compared to Taylor Made 4 weight. Weighting the club is very easy to figure out, and yes it does work. I have the 460Q as well, but the 430Q just gives you that little bit extra tuning.

I love the driver.
My driving was very high due to the 10 degrees I had on my other driver, I got this 430Quad 8.5 degree and put the weight in the front and I getting ot 50-60 yards more distance, lower altitude on my shot and less wind movment of the ball.

Thanks
Armando

The Grafalloy Nano Tech Prototype Shaft could be quite possibly the best shaft in golf. The shaft retails for $80.00 by itself and is wort every penny.

  adjustable driver,that is inexpensive.
Review created: 04/06/08

I bought the adams redline rpm 430Q driver golf club about a month ago and i really like it. It has a nice look to it and i like the fact that it has adjustable weights to compensate for each indivduals swing. my only dislike is that when i got the driver it did not come with the tool needed to adjust the weights on the driver.Besides that i would recommend this driver to anyone looking for an inexspensive adjustable driver.
