Adams Insight XTD Pro Driver Golf Club

I had tried this and other drivers out on 'demo'day, and of all the drivers I used, which included Nike, Callaway, Cleveland, and Taylor Made, this was the most solid and seemed to produce the longest drives. I got the 10.5* stiff shaft, which had a comparable launch angle to the Callaway 9*. The graphite design shaft is excellent, and I use the same make shaft on my 3 wood, and both produce long hits.I was actually surprised that I liked the Adams the best, as it is the least glamorous name brand, but there was no question that it was, at least for me, hands down the best driver. Usually there are several of these available on ebay at any given time, and at very reasonable prices.

I use a Taylor made burner 420 (420cc's), I was hoping for an upgrade here. Both are 8.5 degrees. This new club is 460cc and had great reviews, especially for the long ball. I know that 8.5* are hard to hit but this one is not good at all. Even when I hit it great I am disappointed. Doesn't get the distance it says it does

I bought this driver after buying the XTD pro fairway wood. I love the semi square face.. I hadn't thought much about ADAMS golf products before except for the pro Hybrid.. wow!!! The XTD pro 9.5 with the YSQ shaft is amazing.. my ball flight is spot on...a medium penetrating flight with good roll upon landing..easily 20 yards longer than my cleveland highbore xl pro and much more forgiving..mishits still carry and I can still manufacture fades and draws easily... better than the hooks and slices I sometimes hit before with other drivers....I cant believe you can get one for less than 150.00... I wouldn't trade mine for any other driver on the market.... my swing speed is 98-107 with an even tempo.. try the 14.5 fairway-hybrid with the same shaft...awesome...I play to an 8 handicap...go to a pro shop and try one if they still have one..I'm sure you will be buying one...Playing from the short grass more often is great and having a shorter iron into the green is a plus too...

Just got a used Adams Insight XTD Driver and is very good. Within a few hits at the driving range I was easily getting 10 to 20 yards extra distance from my previous Taylormade driver. Great feel and ball flies great off the face.
