Adams Idea Pro Fairway Wood Golf Club

I have been using ADAMS Products since November 2007 and I kick myself for not Switching sooner. My game has changed for the better and I Play for a living and these are the Hybrids I trust when the Pressure is on . The IDEA PRo is almost impossible to hit Bad and depending on you and your game I would be properly fitted and know the Length you need to be playing because these Hybrids are Hot and you will not loose Distance . These clubs have cured me of 1 and 2 iron use.
Where those irons are not as hard to hit as many believe, they are NOT as flexible in their use. One trajectory is what you get.
The Adams Idea Pro hybrids allow high shots, low shots, and amazingly, can get MORE distance than the irons they replace.
With a 1 iron, I got about 235 from a clean fairway lie and max 250 off a tee.
The Adams 2 IRON hybrid gets those numbers. I've hit it 240 from the fairway.

I'm sold on these clubs for long iron replacement.
Mid iron and less, I still prefer an iron.

I have 3 Adams Idea Pro Rescue Clubs, a 3,4 and 5. I purchased all of them on eBay. I find them to be very well balanced and quite easy to hit. It seems I can use a swing which allows the club to apply most of the force to launch the ball. I like the higher launch angle they provide. I can see why these clubs are held in such high regard especially with senior players like myself. I have owned other brands of rescue clubs and none of them compare favorable on any level with the Adams Idea Pro brand.

Excellent hybrid. Best I've ever hit. I've had most including PING, NICKENT, COBRA, and TITLEIST and found this best by far. club performs as an easy to hit iron rather than a more accurate fairway wood that appears to be the trend of other models. Distance and trajectory is consistent with ability to fade or draw on demand.

Adams Idea Pro Hybrids, namely the 3 and 4 irons are awesome!!! If you are the type of player who shoots in the 80 to 100 range (18 holes), then you would greatly benefit from hybrids. These idea pro hybrids incorporate the Aldilia proto V shafts. For me, I hit these 20 yards further and much much straighter than your normal 3 and 4 irons. Its the shaft that makes the diff here!!! Have the shaft on my Nickent 3-wood...easy to hit and man does the ball go!!
The Adams have been out now for about 3 years. You can find great deals here on ebay. Even new!!! Got my 4 iron new...$38. Not bad since when they came out, they were $199 a club.
Never fear shots that are 180 to 220 yards out again!!! Get a pair of these!

Looks and plays like a surgical instrument. Such a subtle look, and a reassuring, solid feel to it. I've really come to respect Adams Golf products lately, they're making quality stuff that works.

Great club...excellent balance and the head is a perfect size to perform a number of shots (as well as around the green)

If you don't like how you hitting a 3 or 2 iron this is the club for you. It's like hitting an iron but a whole lot easier. It's forgiving and has a great launch angle. It is pretty easy to put a draw on it, but it is harder to put a fade on it. Imagine a oversize 2 iron with a huge chunk of metal on the back and you've got the idea. With the balls spinning as little as they do these days it's time to throw out you 2 and 3 irons and put this in your bag. Also it's a whole lot better than a 5 wood too, because you can actually control the ball much better than you would be able too with a 5 or 7 wood.

I love how the ball gets up into the air with very little effort. Very little workability is lost and spin rates are comprable to those of the equivalant irons. I would definatly consider having one of these in the bag.

The five hybrid is very nice. I've played six rounds of golf with it. I use it from 150 to 170 yards out. I am also learning to chip around the green when in deep rough. It came in very quickly. Thank you.

This club is great for the higher ball striker. The shaft that comes with it, Aldila VS Proto By You is a heavier shaft that has a higher bend point that helps with control and lower flight. The club looks good as you address the ball and is solid when the ball is hit. Great Club.

Extremely easy to work. High launch with flat trajectory. Great length. Very forgiving. No wonder it is the no. 1 hybrid on the Tour.

After just one range session and 18 holes, I already have a confidence level with this hybrid that I never had with my 5 iron. It's great.

Fantastic club... I'm a high handicapper and this is the most forgiving club I have ever hit. Works great in high rough as well.
