All the songs from the movie are on this CD. The only song that is not on the cd set is "I want you". The songs are in order according to their place in the movie as well, which I really like. Simply put, if you loved the movie, Across the Universe, then you'll love this cd!

Listening to these recordings makes me want to go back and hear the original Beatles songs. However, I love hear their songs reinterpreted. This is a great way to change the meanings of their songs. This album does repect the integrity of the Beatles too. Also check out the soundtrack to I AM SAM which is all Beatles covers too.

What a wonderful tribute to the Beatles. Their music takes you along for a trippy ride through history. This movie brought back so many memories. The good and the bad. The actors in the movie were awesome. Their singing as well as their acting. I would highly recommend everyone to see this film. A good introduction to the Beatles to someone who was not as lucky as I to live through their time....

Never received this...so I have no idea. The seller was a Pakistani Terrorist.

I absolutely loved the movie itself, especially the music, the way it's changed and put together. I think most of the cast are excellent singers.

Because I loved the movie, I was surprised at the differences in the soundtrack. The deluxe edition has all songs on it, so make sure you get that one. The origional one only has one cd and is missing many songs.

The big difference in the music is the background music. It has been changed a bit the background music can sometimes drown out the singing. All in all, I would recommend it and buy it again.

The Across the Universe soundtrack was good, but a bit disappointing if you are expecting it to be exactly like the movie. Certain songs sounded much better in the film. Also even on the deluxe album "I want you/she's so heavy" and "why don't we do it in the rain" are missing. I'm not quite sure why they did not make it onto the album. The fact they are missing is a bit disappointing. The voices of the actors/actresses are incredible however especially on "Oh Darling" and "Because". Overall it's a good cd and a great nod to the beatles.

The movie was amazing, from the begining it is infused with a freshness and the beauty of life. The beatles greatest songs provide insperation to this energetic and mind expanding film and the soundtrack was fantastic. The artistic beauty of the picture and shots as well as the incredible new soundtrack featuring the shows cast singing many of the beatles greatest songs -- This soundtrack makes you want to stand up and cheer. Three cheers for Jude and Lucy, this is an amazing love story...

I couldn't find this item in the store and I didn't want to keep going from store to store to look for it. I popped on ebay and there it was. The price was right so I bought it.

If you liked the movie, you will LOVE this cd set. It has all of the music you loved in the movie and if you close your eyes, it takes you back to the songs as they play in the movie.

Wow, where do start? I'm so excited about my purchase ! I bought this CD for my daughters' birthday but, I don't know who has enjoyed it more, her or myself. The CD contains all of the songs that we loved from the movie. The movie,and now the CD has enabled yet another generation to be forever moved and transformed by the Beatles ageless music. I was not able to find this CD locally,only on EBAY. The price was very reasonable for a 2 disc set. Pleased with this product? You bet! Thanks EBAY!

I love that this cd has 31 tracks, instead of the 29 track cd that was sold in retail stores. That was the main reason why I bought it because I could not find the 31 track cd in the stores, also it includes "I want you (she's so heavy)" and "why don't we do it in the road" (the extra two songs). If you were a fan of the movie and had all the songs running in you head afterwards, this is the CD for you! The two disc set also includes the lyrics to each of the songs and the songs are in order of how they appear in the movie, which is very convient because it paints a scence in you head of what was going on in the movie while the song is playing . I didn't like the two instrumental tracks (the last two on the first cd) because I don't remember when they were introduced in the movie, so I didn't make any connection to them like I did all the other songs by the actors/actresses in the movie. All and all I love this cd and have been introduced to beatles music in a new and exciting way! way!

My Children who are 16 and 12 as well as my husband and I absolutely love watching Across the Universe over and over again and it's wonderful to listen to the CD with the Actors of the Movie singing the Beatle's Songs. It's in the Van wherever we go. Great Music!!!!!

I enjoyed this CD. I had previously purchased this but it was lost in my car following a car accident, so I purchased it again. I am a huge Beatles fan, and this is an new way of listening to some old favorites.

I grew up loving the Beatles, and do not usually like song re-makes, but this CD is fantastic. I highly recommend this CD and my 22 year old daughter does too. She's listened to it non-stop since we received it!!

I am a big Beatles and Across The Universe freak so I was so excited to have this album to add to my collection.

This soundtrack is AWESOME! I love the movie and watch is all of the time...but, it's nice to be able to listen to the music now, without having to have a tv around! Even though the background noise of the movie is NOT in the songs on the cd...it is still a wonderful testament to The Beatles! I would have to say that this is my favorite soundtrack/movie of all time...and I've been around a loooong time...LOL! YOU MUST BUY THIS!

We were so excited to get this cd until we discovered they left out a song -when you look at the list of songs you don't realize that something is amiss-this however, tho songs are sung by artists in the movie, sounds digitally deficient and more like a basement/garage home studio than a recording studio. I would give it a below average score as it is not what i would expect a movie soundtrack to sound like.

I am a Beatles fan from way back; and it gratifies me more than I can say to see my teenage daughter load her i-pod with Beatles tunes. The Beatles tunes have sustained me through the kind of life upheavals I wouldn't wish on anyone, and now I have hope that they will sustain my little girl. I guess it really is a Long and Winding Road.

I bought her this soundtrack CD from the movie. The movie I thought was incredible, kind of like the cartoon Yellow Submarine, in the surreal sense. The songs in the movie, and on the CD, are some of the best, if not the best, interpretations of Beatles tunes I have ever heard, and I have heard them all! 5 stars to the entire project!! Here is hoping for a sequel.
