Acoustic Research AW822 Main / Wireless Stereo Speaker

We purchased this Acoustic Research AW822 Main / Wireless Stereo Speaker system to get sound into the kitchen without turning up the stereo too loud in the other room. After purchasing a different adapter to make the transmitter attach to the speaker wire clips the system performed as intended. The off switch located on the speaker requires about four second hold to activate. The speaker must be turned off (when not receiving a signal from the stereo transmitter) otherwise at random, inopportune times the speaker will operate with loud static or a rare cell phone conversation. Overall, other than the brown color which grows on you, we are pleased with the purchase.

This is by far the best product I ever purchased on ebay. Wireless music in every room of the house! It even works in the backyard! Awesome! Highly recommend product and seller!

LOVE IT! It matches our existing speaker so now we have stereo....can set one speaker as left and one as right. Only needed the existing transmitter. Just put batteries in it and turned it on! GREAT SOUND quality!

These were purchased for use in a classroom so the wireless feature is great. The sound is good, but don't expect high end speaker performance. One speaker in mono mode is barely acceptable but two in stereo mode are much, much better.
The only real complaint is the blare of static when there is no signal going to the speakers. This necessitated the use of a wireless on/off switch to minimize the problem.

I can;t believe the quality of these speakers. I've literally turned the central stereo into a whole house sound system. When they say the have the quality of Bose they are correct. Full bodied bass that travels through out the house. Very happy with these! I plan on coming back for more! The seller was very helpful and worked with me to get my speakers to me quicker than any seller ever has. Five stars in my book.

Using the speakers outside on the patio. They work wonderfully. The sound is incredible. The transmitter is in the house inside an armoire, yet the sound comes through clearly.

the speaker were a gift but the person said it was good quality sound and loved that it was wireless.
