Acoustic Original: The Best Of Billy McLaughlin by Billy McLaughlin (CD, Apr-2001, Narada)

I discovered his work through an internet radio station. I heard "Candleman" and knew I had to have one of his CD's. Since I wasn't familiar with his work I picked the compilation album. It is very relaxing, peppy and works well in an office environment or while reading a book.

Since receiving the album I've learned that McLaughlin has a debillitating disease called focal dystonia which is every artists nightmare. McLaughlin was out of the concert scene for several years as he learned to play his guitar left-handed.

I admire his work, dedication and perserverance to play an instrument he is so passion about.
