
Acer Monitor 22"

I love it and it came at a great price. It works fine now............
It didn't work right at first and had Yellow and Green colors when I got it.......So I went to dealers in town to explain what was wrong and they advised me and sold me a new cable which fixed the whole thing.......
I asked for a rebate from the company and got no rebate and kept telling them that I didn't want to spend the money to ship it back and forth, as they requested, butI wanted a rebate or refund of 1/2 of what I spent which would have been half of the $35 cost of the cable= $17.5o or so and I was only asking for $15. I didn't receive anything after they promised that they would do something.
You asked for this review and I didn't so.......... I think I got screwed....... I still want my half back....... Fifteen Bucks is Fifteen Bucks when you're retired, 68 years old, and every dime is needed today to make things work. It's not like when we were working and money came easy and we spent it just as easily. I had a 20" monitor that I found set out by a dumpster 3 years ago and my son in law bought an Acer and told me that I'd really like this new wide screen 22" monitor. He told me when he bought his at a local dealer that when he got it it had distortion on one side of the monitor, so he took it back and they gave him a new one which he loves and works great. I told him I was looking at one online and he said, "No don't do that, because if you have a problem you've got lots of hoops to jump thru." "Buy it locally for more money, but you at least get quick and easy service and immediate replacement.".........Well I did it my way and lost, I guess........
