WOW what an impressive monitor! It seems that each time a vendor delivers a new style, they dramatically improve performance over the last! This is no exception! The looks alone of this unit are beautiful, 800:1 300 NIT and 5MS make this a candidate for gamers. A huge selling point to me is the angle viewing, up to 160 degrees you can still see this display crisp and clean. Many fall off real quick when you are not looking straight on but not this one. 3 Years from Acer as with most others and they have a name for good quality monitors. The best part is the price, they keep coming down and with careful shopping you can get one for a great price.

Acer X221WSD - Great Monitor! Great Price!
) This monitor has great color and screen area. I have one of these already and wanted another one to have a 'Dual-Screen' with matching monitors.
The Acer brand has a great reputation and has a 3-yr. warrenty over the competitors 1-yr.
The one very minor negitive I found at time of purchase was that even though the seller had said their were no dead pixels - I did find one minute dead pixel only visible at the time the monitor turns on.
So, all-in-all... If your looking for a good monitor, go with ACER!!

Great monitor for the priceI found these acer monitors have a good warranty and have great graphics resolution settings for gaming and other video uses. I dont know thwe difference between other manufacturers but I do like the Acer quality. I really have no complaints and the price is comparable to 19 inch of only a year or 2 ago. Has a nice soft light, easy viewing with the full size screen.
