Acer AL2216WBD 22 inch LCD Monitor

It has been 2 weeks since I bought this LCD for my desktop, and I can say I am happy about it. First of all, the 22" wide LCD is just too good for people like me, surf lot on the web, and you can view a lot windows without blocking one and the others. It is a great buy if you are still thinking about. Acer is the brand to go, way better than Dell 24". Trust me.

I won a 22" Acer monitor (Acer AL2216WBD (Black) LCD Monitor) and the seller refused to send it to me even after I received and still receiving messages for winning this monitor. I worked with e-bay staff in trying to resolve this issue and still didn't get resolved. Further more, after he refused to sent me the monitor he still reported me as I was late in payment and he said that the time for paying for this item had expired after I had a chain of e-mails verifying that he was lying and that he refused to send me the monitor even before I had the chance to pay for it. The minute after I won the item he sent me an e-mail saying that it was a mistake and that he would not send me the item and to not send the money becuase he would not send the monitor. I hope that this message reaches everyone that is interesting in buying any items from this seller so that they don't have to go through the same issues that I went through with this very incompetent seller.

I Love acer. They ahve made such head way in the PC world. I own two of these and love them! The resolution is great and the high quality construction make this mointor a huge hit. Bigger is better for both work and entertainment.

I have used the acer brand for years, they have proved to be reliable and trouble free, they are very easy to set up, they have excellent resolution, and all the adjustments are very user friendly, compared to the prices on some of the other brands, this has proven itself to be well worth the money invested, will definately purchase another, as a matter of fact I have already been looking to add another to my system.

My 19" monitor went off after a power surge,in spite of being on a surge protector,so I bought this!!
Has a large,wide screen,with great color projection.Would recommend this product & upgrade to anyone.
It has a sharp, bright picture,reading documents is easy,no squinting!!
The color is vivid,making viewing movies a pleasure..
Acer is relatively new to this arena,but proves it belongs among the best,with quality & pricing.

I researched on the 22in. monitors and found this Acer to meet my requirements and price range. Great monitor for gaming and graphics. I love to play high end games online as well as off. My whole family is amazed at the clarity and size. I enjoy it as well to use for powerpoint presentations for church and doing multiple forms at the same time. I dont have any negatives about this monitor and recommend this Acer highly. The prices are still coming down and soon the 24in. monitors will be close behind. I am satisfied with this size and price. I am sure there are other monitors that are more expensive but for what I payed you can not go wrong! Chock one up for Acer! I will enjoy this monitor for years to come. Next game pleeease!!!

Pros: A good size monitor for the price. Easy to set up and easy to move. Picture quality rivals that of a more expensive monitor. Excellent for movies and good for gaming with it's 5ms respond time.

Cons: Only one thing the stand is a little flimsy but no big problemo.

This is a great monitor.
Don't let the "off-brand" name scare you off.
22" monitors stretch the picture to acheive the stated size.

I was looking for a larger monitor and finally decided to jump from glass monitor to LCD type. We work wity a lot of Art Images in PhotoShop. We are aways having to enlarge sections to do corrections and clean-up as part of the reproduction process. This Monitor fit our requirements and needs. Besides being a great buy on ebay.

Nice 22" monitor, small frame compared to others. This smaller frame could make it look if it is smaller than 22", but this is only a perception.

The colors are so much nore vibrant and the 22" viewing area makes it so much easier for my old eyes to read text. Very pleased with the monitor and I bought the extended warranty through Ebay, which was extermely affordable. I would recommend this monitor. Five stars in my opinion!!

I just purchased my 2nd one of these(first one is awesome). Acer made this monitor pretty well. There isn't a whole bunch of advanced features but you can get it pretty close to whatever your looking for if you tinker with the settings. For those of you after a really high quality (hd) display then don't waste your time and look for something in the $250-$350 range. i have one connected to my media server and one on hand at all times when i connect my laptop up at home. I really believe this monitor was made for gamers and media junkies on a budget. For the ones who want something a little bit more visually tantalizing than the monitor grandma got you 4 years ago for your birthday.

I decided to buy this unit based upon price. It has a very good display and functions well. I am somewhat surprised that there is a trend to wide screen displays on computers. Most business uses seem to go better with a larger vertical display. That said I suppose the "entertainment" side of computer use is what drives the aspect ratio.

This monitor is perfect for the price and size. The color is warm and the images crisp. I have used this monitor as both my main screen and an extension of my desktop in both Windows XP and Mac OS 10.5 with great results. I have played games on the monitor including Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Call of Duty 4, with great refresh rates. Brightness of the monitor was a bit low for starters but after a quick adjustment it was spot on and remains that way to this day.

I plan to buy two more of these monitors in the very near future, one for the wife and another for a dual monitor setup for myself.

I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking to expand your desktop realestate.

This was the best value for the money I had to spend. Set up was plug & play. I had to ajust the screen size several times, to get a balanced highth to width. I finally got to use the digital capabilities of my vidio card. It is fantastic.

I got this last Friday, hooked it up, and have been running it ever since. For the price (low $200s), it is an excellent value. It has vertical tilt angle adjustment, but no vertical lift, but this is no big deal. It had no dead/stuck pixels, and I have been running it at a resolution of 1280x768 (although it will go higher, I like this one about the best). It has both VGA and DVI inputs. It has no speakers, but built-in speakers and monitor speaker bars typically have worse sound than my bigger external speakers anyway. I recommend this monitor. I've even considered getting a second one.

Nice monitor. The only downfall is one dead pixel towards the left of the monitor. Acer's policy is that they will replace it if one dead pixel is in the middle section, but there has to be 4 dead pixels in the other sections.
