Ace Combat 6 ACE-EDGE Flightstick Bundle (Xbox 360, 2007)

This was a great buy. This is a limited edition bundle that takes the game to the next level. Its the ultimate jet flight simulator!! As you complete the missions you can buy and sell planes and new weapons. The live if amazing and very enjoyable. I have enjoyed this game since the day I purchased it!!

The seller accidently sent me the wrong item. During the whole process of return and swith there was great communication. She paid for the shipping on the return of the item and got me the i ordered asap. Would buy from this seller anytime.

Very responsive and gives a new perspective to flight simming on a game console. There are dozens of functional buttons on the throttle alone. You feel on the edge of your seat when in the middle of a dog fight!

NOTHING in the manual or in game setup to indicate that it is supported. Only written description of button layout is ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX, minimum description of button layout on the controllers. Cannot make any changes to the button layout. Not Wireless.


I had bought one (I also own the Steel Batallion Controller), I love it, and have a friend with a 108" diagonal projector. Mailed it to him and he loves it. Definitely adds to the game. Wish it was backwards compatibile with the older versions. Hope it is supported in the future.

I had the AceCombat5 game ported on Playstation II, and I bought the flight controls that were available at that time. But none of what I experienced with that set compares to this AceCombat6 Ace-Edge Flight Controls. I was immediately impressed with the physical size of the units. They are huge!! The picture I had seen didn't do them justice, I was expecting something similar to what I had, about 3 to 4 inches squared, these are a huge 7.25 inches squared at the base. Out-of-the-box, into setup, I was again amazed at how well they were constructed and the size/weight ratio. They didn't have the feel of toys, but rather professional gear. Setup & install was a snap, soon I was on my first mission. My next amazement came in the form of how smooth, precise and accurate the performance was. I couldn't imagine playing this game without this flight control units. It would be difficult if not impossible with everything that's involved with high performance, supersonic jet aircraft and combat flight(dog fighting). The cons I have for these units are: No stable mounting platform for the controls, and the cost, quite a bit pricey for the average teenager to afford. With the X Box 120gb Elite system, the Game, and the controls @ $600 to $700.00, more if purchased separately. I additionally had to purchase a 1/4 in. thick 12 x 24 in. sheet of plexiglass for a lap mount.

Product Is good, but only for Ace Combat 6. It's not useable with any other flying game. Also watch for shipping a duty charges if buying from another country. I paid almost the same price as the product itself for shipping!!

I was impressed when I tried this game at the store with only the standard control pad. Now, with the Flight stick and throttle controllers this becomes one of the best flight Sims I have ever played.

I bought the ace edge to play IL 2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey, because a control pad or the Saitek AV8R did not seem to work well for me. I checked the price on Amazon first, to see what I would have to pay and found several on Ebay to bid on. Luckily, I found one in like new condition with no reserve that I won for $142.50, which is about $50 cheaper than Amazon. The bundle was like new condition and well packed, and when I started using it, I found that it works very well indeed. It looks good, feels good, and works very well. The only thing I wish had been different was the shipping. At only $4, it was a bargain, but it took from 30 Oct (shipped) to 19 Nov (received). If it works as well with my other flying games (Blazing Angels, Blazing Angels II, Ace Combat 6, Hawx) it is an even bigger bargain. If you like flying games, this is the controller you should buy. Save your money, raid the piggy bank, do whatever it takes, but buy one and enjoy on a whole new level.

Love the flying and shooter games... this one is great!!! Did Ace Combat 4 and 5 already on PS2... the stix take getting used to but are fun... probably better suited to an actual flight simulator game?

If you want fast action flyer get AC6...

The product I received arrived extremely fast. Kudos to you on that. However upon using the product I noticed that one of the cords was bent. I had to use pliers and a small hammer to get the metal back into a usable shape. Otherwise the items fit the description perfectly.

Absolutely the only way to play the game. I mounted them to a nice pice of plywood so they would not move around. Takes a bit to get used to all the controls (not a complaint!). Really, truly like flying with these suckers. I must admit that this is my absolute all time favorite xbox game now. Surpassed COD4 and WaW.

Product was like new as described and was recived in 6 days I will do bussnis with this seller in the months to come.

first this product is awesome and if you have the opportunity to buy it for under 150$ ,get it because you will not find such great flight stick and game like this anywere else .
/About the game : THE best game for jet arcade ,there are only a few jet game made and graphism will be far less as the ace combat 6 game .(go youtube for footage)

-first I buy this kit to play BF2 on my computer ..!

- and made for microsoftXBOX . so maybe it can be compatible with microsoftPC
- now you will say :" I want to know if I can play BF2 or other PC game with those flight stick because I dont find this information on the net."
- now I will tell you that BF2 and other game on pc ARE COMPATIBLE with ace combat6 xbox flight stick. just plug the usb plug into your computer .BUT ...only one function that is seem to not be reconised is the trottle(front and back control on left handed joystick.)
Now .start looking for one now(limited edition), and be assured that those are the best flight stick available around for both pc and xbox ,if you consider a f-16 HOTAS stick from thustmaster(f-16 stick replica) .let me tell you that they are abit too stiff and odd for jet arcade style game, but stil the best for simulation jet pc game.

This is a very cool joystick. Be careful though. I used mine once when the game came out. Haven't played since. I don't recall any bumping/dropping/knocking ever since then while it's been sitting on my shelf waiting for me to finish my other games first. Now, 11 months later I connect the USB cable, the 2 quandrants light up for an instant then turn off and now I can't seem to operate my joystick. I called Namco Bandai at (408) 235-2222 and they politely told me to take a hike and that they don't support the hardware and can't fix it. I hope mine is an isolated case. I do know a Japanese company called Hori manufactured the stick. I'll try calling them, hoping they can speak English. I'm almost tempted to place a bid but feel worried the same thing will happen again. I suggest the seller just to make certain and try using the joystick today. Just in case.

The product was received in good condition. it had been opened and resealed but everything appeared to be there. Delivery took way too long!!!!! It was supposed to be a birthday present but came more than a week later. He said that he had to wait for the money to get transfered to his account, but I used paypal immediately after the sale was over. It was immediately deducted from my account. Is there really that much of a delay in the transfer? Would have to order several weeks early before I use this vendor again. But overall he is okay.

I like the intense visual graphics I have come to love with the Ace Combat series. Only problem I had was I had to buy an Xbox 360 system to continue playing it since Sony lost the rights!

The graphics are better then ever and the hands on throttle and stick make it seem that much more real. Now if they would just make a seat that spins and twist upside down....

This game is just as you might expect from the ACE COMBAT series. It is simply amazing, the graphics are stunning and the story line is also very good. To top it all off in this special edition you get the flight sticks which add a whole new element of challenge to the game and the way it is played. A must for all ace combat fans or if you are new to the series just wanting a truely unique flight simulation experience.
