This item is an excellent reel I personaly use a set of four to carp fish with. The reel has a smooth drag system and can make long cast with ease. I would recommend this reel for anyone looking for a narrow spooled reel to fish for any species because of it's durability.

This reel casts very nicely and is tangle free once you master the thumbing of the reel spool. The reel is manufactured very well and is a high quality fishing tool. The reel is attractively designed and is finished very nicely. It balances well with a medium weight rod. This reel can be used both for casting baits and for deep trolling as it is substantial enough to handle the big fish. It also has a large enough spool to handle enough line for deeper trolling. I use the reel for bass casting, trolling for walleye on the bottom and for trolling suspended fish at various depths. Nice all around reel for all types of fishing.
