Absolution by Muse (UK) (CD, Mar-2004, Warner Bros. Records Record Label)

They went OVER ON this ONE! Muse really impressed me, this is the first Album I bought from these Guys. The use of the piano and other Instruments set these guys apart from other Rock bands.

i also Love the hard hitting bass and low to high paced music...great for a long Drive!

This is the best Album I've heard in my life. Muse truly does their best work on this album. every single song is a hit. the lyrical range goes from hysteria, to apocalypse, to love, to atheism, governments, and loneliness. so it pretty much covers everything! Dominic Howard, Matt Belamy, and Chris Wolstenholme, have great performances in this album. creating great music and doing some techinically advanced stuff. Overall I recommend this album to everyone, since in my opinion it really is the best album in the world.

One of Muse's better albums. The CD is full of songs that make you want to roll down the windows on your car and play the music as loud as you can. The album rocks, ok? And then there are a couple of smooth ballads with appealing chord progressions. All in all, this is a great album by Muse.

I never knew who Muse was until recently when I took my daughter to a concert of theirs...and OH MY GOD...I was SPEECHLESS!!!! They are the BEST band in my book. You WILL NOT be disappointed in this CD..I liked it better than their new CD but all their songs are great!! Matthews' voice is just so sexy and different from other bands...JUST BUY IT!!!

Absolution's chaotic choruses feel like the triumphant culmination of some earth-shattering undertaking.

Muse has been around for quite some time now and it is no question that their older music is still superior to their new music. If you have listened to Origins of Symmetry or Black Holes and Revelations then you haven't been exposed to the best of Muse yet. Don't get me wrong, those two album are amazing but just not as great as Absolution. Songs such as Butterflies and Hurricanes, Time is Running Out, Stockholm Syndrome, Falling Away With You, Endlessly, and Hysteria will truly make you love Muse. If you are a Muse fan or just love alternative music, I highly recommend checking out this album!

I bought because im MUSE fan and i can not find this CD in Portugal.
And this one is missing on my MUSE discography.

this is my frist muse cd that i have ever bought. i bought it based off of hysteria because i love the bass line (i'm a bassist) but i was thoroughly blown away by the album as a whole. hits you from the beginning and leaves you wanting more. it's a wonderfully written album.

This CD is amazing. Masterpiece after masterpiece Muse delivers more than wonder to my ears. infinite thumbs up and they are great to listen to when you have writers block.

I love the whole CD. Even the intro fits well. Time is running out is probably my favorite song because of the lyrics. But Stockholm Syndrome and Hysteria are up there too. I knew of those songs from the radio, but the rest of the CD is amazing.

I decided to buy it because I heard people say it was a great album. I will probably have to buy it again because it's been playing in my stereo for 1 month straight :)

I love Muse, I got on the "Muse bandwagon after I read the Twilight series, I went to Stephenie Meyer's site an she had the music listed that inspired her to write the books. Muse was one of the most used artists in her playlist. If I had never read the books I probably would never have heard of them, but I am totally glad it all worked out that way, Muse music is a little different, both dark and flighty...some will hate it and not understand it, but for those with a poetic mind will be stoked.

Buy it now. You won't want to stop listening to it. Stockholm Syndrome and Hysteria are ridiculously good.

What can I say? Is one of the greatest bands of this generation
listen to it, watch theri videos and feel their inspirational lirycs

Very good album. If you like coldplay or radiohead i'd probally say you would like this band. Some albums only have one or two good tracks but Absolution from Muse has several excellent tracks if not all, well worth buying!
