Product Information
AVM now offers its first PC solution tailored for four ISDN channels: the new active ISDN-Controller C2. Specially conceived for use in Internet, data and telecommunications servers, the PCI adapter supports up to two BRI ISDN lines to provide a LAN with four simultaneous data channels. With its own on-board processor and memory, the C2 facilitates even computationally demanding applications such as data compression or telefax transmission of four documents at once. As the C2 takes its place alongside the ISDN-Controller B1 for one BRI line and the C4 for up to four BRIs, AVM now offers three active controllers that can be combined as desired in a given system. The C2 supports the operating systems Windows 2000 and NT, Novell NetWare and Linux.
