I own a Cingular store and have tried many PDA style phones but found this one to be the best. It is very easy to use and everything you need is at the palm of your hand. It has a Huge screen with very vibrant colors which is also touchscreen. This phone has the best keyboard from all the PDA style phones. It's Keyboard is very large and easy to use. Windows Mobile 5 makes this phone a Pocket PC with many windows programs already loaded in the phone, such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc... With one press of a button you can surf the internet with a true HTML browser just like your computer. With a press of another button you can check your Outlook email instantly. The Camera on this phone is exceptional. It has a 1.3 MegaPixel camera with Flash and Video recorder. A one-touch button located on the side of the phone starts your camera in a snap. It has 5 Settings which include Auto - Daylight - Incandescent - Florescent - and Night mode. It also has four effects which are Grayscale - Sepia - Cool - and Negative. It has tons of camera settings and with the right settings for each picture you can maximize the use of your camera and get an excellent pictures everytime. This phone has all the features you need from Bluetooth to WiFi. The WiFi allows you to connect to your home or office wireless network. This phone has Infrared which is great for real estates. It has a memory card slot which you can use to expand your memory for Music, Files, Pictures, and Programs. You can add Music and Videos and play them right on Windows Media Player. This phone has a nice large slide out keyboard which is very easy to use. The keys are a good size and all the special characters are a button away. The screen is very large and touch sensitive. The phone comes with a stylus(the pen) which makes it very easy to use. The phone has Dual stereo speakers for a great music experience. A lot of PDA's dont have very good phone call quality but this phone has great phone quality and a loud speaker. You can Sync this phone to use computer with ActiveSync which comes with the phone. Overall this phone is AMAZING!! It has everything you can think of....Get it!!! Review ID: 10000000001385565 Was this review helpful? The size of the screen on this phone is amazing, I love the fact that the pictures taken with the (optional) 1.3mp camera come out so large and clear on the phone. The wifi has helped me out in plenty of situations, news reports, movie times, etc. when it would be handy to have a computer around. Another nifty feature about the phone are the word processing capabilities using Microsoft Word. You can actually send them to your office or home computer and open them in Microsoft Word format. I really do recomment this phone to any business man or woman, or anybody for that matter that could use all of it's features! Review ID: 10000000000942501 Was this review helpful? Pros: Slide keyboard, WM5, Wifi, Bluetooth, number of buttons, length and height dimensions, available mods and ad-ons for customizing (free and bought), available software (free and bought), affordable mini-sd (vs. micro sd), video capture option, affordable and best "bang for your buck" used PDA/Cell on ebay as of 1-2-08 ; prices sold between 120-190 on average(compared to 8525, Wing, Iphone, Tilt, Blackberries - which were other items I was watching for a month before I bought my 8125), nice camera for a cell, crisp display Cons: WM5 issues, slower cpu (not a big deal if you stop programs that are running), flash for camera is useless as a flash (good as a flash light), thickness makes it feel bulky in the hand and pocket, keyboard slider feels flimsy (mine is a used unit), after owning the item it started to lose its visual appeal (looked out of date), cracking when at high volume for ringer. Comment: After some careful watching of different phones as mentioned above this phone was the best choice base on cost and my needs. I mainly use it as a PDA to help me and it serves its purpose here well (love Windows Mobile). The price was fair as compared to the others listed above. I have used OS with Palm and Blackberry and would have to say that Windows Mobile is most suited for me. This would be a good buy for you as a used PDA/Cell from eBay if you want a fully functional PDA but at a more bearable price. You'll sacrafice fanci-ness and attention but gain a fully functional pda that didn't break the bank. Review ID: 10000000004984110 Was this review helpful? I went from having a big, bulky & no camara Siemens SX66 pocket pc to having this great cute, small, compact with a great appearance Cingular 8125. When I talk on the phone my face doesn't hit a whole bunch of buttons on the touch screen. The screen automatically turns sideways when you slide the keyboard out. The camara takes great pictures. I set it up where my phone checks every 15 minutes to my email & if I have one it alerts me. I can search the web no problem, it is pretty fast. **This is where I come to my problem......I basically have this phone so when someone emails me about something I am selling in my ebay store I can answer them back & when I am away on vacation, I can still manage my ebay store. Well, I can't sign into "MY EBAY". I can go to the ebay web site & look at stuff but when I want to "Sign In" to my account I can't. I called Cingular & they told me that this phone is on the list of phones that can't sign into accounts. It isn't Cingular, it is the way the phone is set up by the manufacturer. I spoke to few other people, one said they can (???) but a few other said they can't sing into ebay, buy movie tix or log in their bank account. They have to sign in using wap.ebay.com. If you plan to get this phone FIND OUT with your carrier FIRST & tell them what I am telling you. If this isn't important to you & you need it for emails, save files and anything other then signing into an account then this is the phone for you. Unfortunately it isn't for me :( I am getting the 8525, which Cingular said it will work (I have my fingers crossed) Hope I helped. UPDATE: The 8525 works perfect. I can sign in ebay with no problem.
