SL82418 1.9 GHz Quad 1-Line Cordless Phones perform exacly as described and now my husband has an extension in his garage. Voice tone and clarity are great. Extensions are easy to find in the middle of the night when those scare you to death phone calls arrive. The cost for the phone and extensions was very reasonable compared to other brands that were reviewed prior to purchase.
