AT&T E262 2.4 GHz 2-Line Cordless Expansion Handset

I already had two handsets and never had one where I needed it. This made sense in terms of cost, and proven reliability.

This product is excellent. When I finished my bonus room over my garage, I didn't have to run any phone wiring because this phone works perfectly anywhere in my house. I have the base unit centrally located upstairs and I can talk on the cordless handset anywhere in my house or yard and I have a 1/2 acre. I just purchased two extra handsets to replace other phones we had in the house because these work so well. I"m not sure if AT&T still makes these, but I'd highly recommend it, especially if you have two lines. phone menu system is easy and intuitive. I especially like the ability to retrieve and manage phone messages from any handset.

My wife and I run a small home based consulting business. We had a dozen phones scattered all over the house, but were looking for a portable phone loaded with features and with two lines. I bought the base and two remotes at Sam's Club, but they didn't have the extra remotes that we wanted. I looked everywhere and then found some on eBay for a very reasonable price and free shipping, so I ordered 4 more. I placed the order on a Sunday afternoon and had them Tuesday morning. They have all the features we wanted, crystal clear reception (even at our neighbors house and the mailbox). The intercom/transfer is a real plus and we couldn't be happier with the phones. There are up to 8 remotes that can be used on the base and can name the remotes to match their assigned location. A 50 number data base lets you easily store names and numbers. The buttons are thoughtfully located for easy use and the display screen is clear and easy to read. Bottom line, if you need a two line phone, this is a great little phone and I highly recommend it.

They have so many feathues they save me a lot of running. Great Phone. I have a remote in each room of thew house. So it will page, intercom and tell you when someone else picks up. I love these phones.
