I have looked at the previous version of this book and it didn't have all the info I wanted to see. It was geared more to th vhf and uhf bands. This version the 2007 was much the same just barely touching the lower bands. Otherwise it is an excellent document. Rollie

First of all, I rate this book "good" only because it is the only book of this nature that I have read, not because of any shortcoming in the book.
There is a lot of technical info here, they also do a good job of summarizing and explaining the technical stuff. I would say that this is a good book to own if really want to understand antennas and all of the parameters affecting an efficient antenna system. This book explains a lot of concepts that are often misunderstood.

Necessary book for any HAM. I read many blogs that HAMS write they wish they knew how to make an antenna. One can spend hours searching the internet or just buy this resource book. Even if this book isn't 100 percent inclusive, it's probably 90 percent inclusive and a great place to start researching. CD is an extra bonus. I give this book and CD 5 stars. Wish I bought it sooner.
