AOC 919SW-1 19 inch LCD Monitor

the screen doesnt have good ligthing as it looks as if the light is moving all the time and it came witha dead pixel so its a low quality screen for the price, but this is for my grandmother and she barely uses it anyway.

I had recently gone through a burst water pipe in my home, my computer sytem took a direct hit every thing was lost. After replaceing the furniture there was not much money left over for computer stuff. After scouring all of the local retail stores for some sort of deal to get somthing similar to my now trashed LG 19" monitor I quickly realized a 19" monitor just wasn't in the budget. So now here I am a week after using this monitor and WOW! this piece has performed just as well if not better then my old LG monitor which still costs more then double what I payed for this one. I was shopping around on the internet for a LCD monitor. This would be for my 7 year old daughter, but also be used in the family room for anyone in the house. My daughter is always trying to get on my wife's laptop, so with a screen similar to the laptop she was very excited. The 19 inch LCD Monitor displays a widescreen that allows optimal viewing and gaming if your not a hardcore gamer. But if 1440 x 900 @75Hz will satisfy your needs, by all means do not hesitate to purchase this monitor.

The AOC 919SW-1 configuration is great also. The buttons on the monitor are at the very lower right screen. There are many choices, to adjust color, image, contrast, auto adjust, etc..... I know other competitors are out there fighting for the consumers money, so trust me when I say this to fellow consumers. The price and the performance of this Widescreen 19 inch cannot be beat. In otherwords, if you do not care about the Name or Brand Logo, you will not be dissappointed. Best price/performance.

I am very pleased with my purchase of your product. It has a very clear picture and what pleases me most is the 3 year warranty. We had just bought a new Dell Computer System in Feb.2007. Just 1 -1/2 year later the monitor went bad on the right hand side. Since it was past the 1 year warranty they had, they would not stand behind it. Not too impressed with Dell anymore. The picture is awesome! Bright, clear, the screen is huge but doesn't take up much room because it's flat. Worked great right out of the box. I would buy another one of these in a second. No complaints.

Was shopping for a flat panel monitor for my Grand-daughter for an early Christmas gift. Had checked many other models for quality for price and found this one to be one of the better products offered.
