AMF Bowling: Pinbusters (Wii, 2007)

This game is rated E -everyone. I don't agree with this as the characters have very revealing clothing, well the little bit of clothing the female characters wear, (more skin than clothing). Which I don't think is appropriate for children.

Also the game is a lot more sensitive than the bowling game that comes with the system, this makes it really easy to put major spins on the ball, inturn this makes it difficult for younger children and some adults to play. Also the premade character blocks most of the lane, so you can't really see what your doing/lane.

I have a 5 year old and he got very frustrated and didn't want to play anymore after just a couple of frames.

So I would have to say if your thinking about purchasing this for kids 10 & under DON'T.

The bowling that comes with the system is better. As you can set up your own player instead of having to use what has been programmed in, also your able to change which hand you bowl with. On pinbusters you can't. The characters are VERY annoying.

In all I'm very disappointed and wish I'd past this game over.

fun game better than brunswicks!!! the motion is more real. On brunskwicks its graphics are better but the player dosnt move with your motion.

The AMF Bowling game is very realistic. Just need the pizza and beer and you feel like you are at the bowling alley. The funny part is watching everyone else bowl, like they are at a real alley. My daughter does the Statue of Liberty throw and it works everytime.

Excellent way to play against multiple players but I like Brunswick bowling better. Characters are funny and it like actually bowling. If you pull your arm to right or left the ball actually goes that way.

Pinbusters was a lot cheaper then some other bowling games for the Wii. It was a big improvement over the Wii bowling.

Bad graphics not a good buy. One of the worst games I have ever played. Wish I could get a refund. Hard to give this game away.

Although the graphics are far better then the Wii Sports Bowling, the game has some issues that make me rate it very low.

1. It is very hard to set up to use multiple remotes.

2. The game keeps loosing communications with the remotes.

3. I see no way of saving your scores as you progress through the game. It looks like you have to start over each time you play.

4. The characters get boring very fast with their limited vocabulary, how many times do you want to hear the "Sarge" say "You pins lack discipline"?

5. Very hard to throw a straight ball, they all seem to want to curve. Wii sports bowling is a lot easier.

I put this game in and didn't even get thru one game and I shut it off because it was dumb. The Wii Sports bowling is way better than this game I would not recommend not buying this game.

I got this game as a step up from the Wii basic bowling game. I didn't like it at all because of the annoying characters and stupid outfits. The dumb chatter didn't help. I got rid of this game and got Brunswick Bowling. It's a much better game, probably not suitable for little kids since it's a lot more serious and challenging. It was just what I was looking for. Many characters that can be somewhat customised, many venues to pick from and mult-levels from league to career. If you're for a more advanced bowling game, try Brunswick.

After playing the bowling game that comes with the Wii, I decided that I wanted some more lanes and change of scenery. I came across this game while browsing the internet for another bowling game. It was priced right so, I gave it a try. The lanes are colorful and realistic. You cannot use your Mii here but, there are several characters to choose from. We had fun with this game. The characters each have sayings that they say. We laughed at the sayings and tried to predict which saying would come out of the character. They repeat the sayings over and over. It added some more fun to the game. If you are looking for an additional bowling game, this is not a bad choice for the price. We have fun with it!

AMF Bowling: Pinbusters what a really bad joke.
This is really bad bad poorly designed game. It is like this games was a very late after thought in somebody mind! What were they thinking!!!!!! It is a total waste of time and money. I can't beleive it passed Quality Control.

I anticipated that the Pinsbusters game (being ONLY a bowling game) would be a step up from the Wii Sports version of bowling. I was sadly disappointed,,,as the bundled Wii Sports version is MUCH better realistically and graphically. This game can be fun...but DO NOT anticipate a professional level bowling game that exceeds what you have seen in the sports version of bowling.

We were very excited to receive this game, only to be let down. The characters are less than appropriate for "family" bowling. The different settings are cool, but we played it one time and are now done with it.

super seller, fast shipping, excellent pruduct, no bull sh** like some others. would recommend to anyone who is lookin for good quality at a good price.

Pinbusters has poor characters, average graphics, average sound, poor gameplay, and wonky control mechanics. There is nothing unique or new or exceptional - so there is no up side.

The bowling game on your Wii Sports disk that came with your new Wii is much better than this piece of "if you make it, they will buy it" crap.

The pin action is no better in this game than the bowling game on your Wii Sports pack-in disk, in my opinion, the pin action is worse in this game. The sound is no better. Can not set up for lefties. Plays slower. The graphics are no better, just more human looking characters instead of the "Mii's".

The controls are messed up. There may be a little more to the control in this game but since it does not actually work, it turns out to the worst game of the two BY A LONG SHOT. I have to waste my first ball to find out if my hook will go in the direction I intended or the opposite direction. If opposite, I hold the Wii-mote upside down and my hook will then go in the direction intended.

The stereotypical characters in the game are repetitious and after only a few frames become annoying. Each of the characters has something like 5 possible lines to speak after each ball thrown. These five lines get old quickly. The Elvis character was not very funny the first time he spoke his first of a possible 5 lines and became less funny the next...and so on. I had hoped the eye-candy character would make this game less painful - but even she could not help.

Pitiful. Terrible. Painful. And yet, this might not be the worst Wii game released; but even so, this is right at the bottom section of the list.

This game is AWESOME, I love to bowl and I think that this game is the next best thing to being at the bowling alley. Thank you for such a good game.

This dreadful bowling game is terrible. Unlike the Wii sportspak where you can set up a player to your own specs, the players included in this game are all pre-set, so if you are lefthanded you are out-of-luck. The players themselves are all idioitvc and oplay-off racial and gender steryotypes. The game is also relentlessly annoying, pausing between every shot for all manner of street thug-like banter. The graphics are too dark as well. Avoid this game and stick with the Nintendo originals.

I was pretty disapointed in this game. You cannot set up for left handed players. Pin action is not very realistic. I think the bowling game in the WII sports is much better.This game is very slow to play.

This product has great graphics, but the same short music section repeated over and over again in redundant. The same with the remarks the characters make. This just makes for a boring game. You can not even see the lanes because of the characters standing in the way. Was not pleased with this purchase at all.

i am a bowler and love to bowl, but this product doesn't let you design a character or let you throw a ball realistic like. it's ok and i enjoy it, but i like the wii sports bowling better.
